But..how do you put a ruler (like a normal sized one) inside your backpack when you're going to school?? so then it doesn't bend? :0

Any answers would be appreciated and I'm sorry I asked a weird random question on FlightRising XDD

Not pinging, because... I honestly wouldn't know. Every year I used to buy a new geometry set and a couple of months later it would be broken. I made it through the rest of the year with the broken ruler or a triangle (if that's how you call them in English, I have no clue).

But for non bendy rulers, I used to stick them in between anything that wouldn't/can't be bent, such as thick notebooks or binders. Just as long as you don't shove it inside, I think you're good ~

The bendable rulers are the best. I used to keep a regular ruler flat in the bottom but it broke :(

I kept a tiny 6 in ruler in my binder and would just use it instead of a full 12 in/foot ruler. That, and one of my binders came with a plastic 6 in ruler inside.

if it's a non bendy ruler try putting it flat again the part of the backpack that goes on your back?? I either did that or just crammed it into a book and prayed I could find it later

My school gave out mandatory day planners with thin plastic rulers that attached to the ring binding. They were super small, but the upside is that rulers like that are impossible to lose unless broken, or if you lose the actual notebook.
We pretty much never needed rulers though. And I had a messenger bag, so I didn't have too much trouble with long, flat objects.

One time during an episode of state testing, they had to print and cut out a bunch to make sure every student had one. They were super blurry to the point of uselessness bc printed ruler, and had ads for the army on them.
I'm sharing, because I think about that every time I see or think about rulers.

Pin it between your folders, notebooks, other big flat things. Step two is hope for the best!!!
