i have 0 idea where this came from, but i thought my grandma was never young and instead used to be a cartoony black and white vulture with a walker? imagine like old school mickey mouse animation, that's how i envisioned her. i have no idea why.

When I was really, really young (4 or 5 years old) I used to think that toys became alive and had their own little lives at night when all the humans have gone to sleep, and I even did an experiment. (> v <) I remember placing my "talking" duck toy (it was out of battery...) on the spiral decoration at the end of the staircase where you could see it from the second floor and waking myself up (no idea how I did that) at near midnight, sneaking quietly down the hall and peeking over the railing to see if the duck had moved or completely left altogether. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
I would also sometimes mutter things to my figurines or dolls, wholeheartedly believing that they could understand what I said, but just chose to not reply or react in order to keep their identity safe. (> v <)

I used to firmly believe that everyone born a boy became a girl and vice versa at an early stage of their life. I used to wonder if I'd made my transition yet and wasn't really sure if I should prepare to swirch genders or what.

i used to believe teachers lived at school. like, that was their home. they stayed there after we left. they had no husbands or wives or anything; they just. taught. all day.
that got shattered when i was, like, seven, because i went to a party with the parents and my teacher was there. i was, like, really offended by it too, even moreso when i found out she was married and had two kids in my class.
