I haven't seen this kind of forum and I just got curious as to what type of school you went/attending ? Was it public, private or home schooled ?

For me I spent my entire life in a private school and now I am seeing the real world un-sheltered and its scary (take me back, no wait don't I hated that school lol)

I went to public school but after 10th grade I switched to do online school, ended up redoing 10th grade because I failed most classes, and I should graduate in January if I actually finish my homework next month!

EDIT:
I also realize I miss having a schedule like going to school, although I hated public school but this past year all Ive done is sit around and do nothing and it's killing me. I need a job.

I was homeschooled until I was 10, where I attended a private school for 4 years. I'm hoping to go to highschool (whether public or private) next year.

poor thing... needs to update his forum signature and hasn't yet. oh well!
@Ceravine

Home-schooled! I felt like it really helped me to leave to think individually and not to give in to peer pressure as a teenager.

I've been to a crap ton of schools. Public for Kindergarten-1st, then I moved and had to go to a new school, a private school, where I stayed for 2nd and half of 3rd. That school was awful and I had to be homeschooled and tutored for the rest of the year to be able to survive in 4th. I went to a public school for 4th and 5th, then graduated and went to an accelerated program for 6th that I absolutely hated. After that year I went to a private school for the rest of middle school, and I absolutely loved it. But I didn't try too hard to make good grades and barely even tried to actually make it to school on time so I ended up in a horrible private school for 9th and changed to a better private school for the rest of high school.

So yeah, LOL. I've seen the good and bad of all options, and I think I do prefer private school because I function better in small classes.

I was homeschooled till 5th grade, then tossed into a public elementary school when I had no social skills whatsoever. Went to public till 9th grade where I was again forced against my will to attend a different school. This time, a Lutheran prep school a good 4 states away. I did actually like it better there class-wise but considering I'd never been left on my own for over a week, it was a drastic and stressful shift. The stress became too much when I started to loathe myself because of my gender/sexuality and the stance on it everyone there had. I went back home but my then I was a complete broken down nervous wreck that was stuck on homebound through senior year. I haven't been able to recover since then.

Going pre-vet at a small, private college with a farm would have probably been okay except that I bit off far more than I could chew with 18 credit hours my first semester. Everyone there was amazingly kind and accepting, even offering to help out with studying sessions before exams, but I was still having anxiety attacks for no discernible reason. *sighs*
Once I get and start training a service dog + try some better anxiety meds I might give double-majoring another shot but until then, I'm gonna try and relax a bit ;u;

Well that was a text wall whoopsies. Sometimes you just need to vent x3

Was in a private Christian school from K-4 to 3rd grade, then transferred to homeschooling for a year, then virtual school.

Caught between the mundanely awkward and the existentially impossible.
-Alice Isn't Dead, Part 2, chapter 4, 11:55

Was at a public school from K-12 (we had quite good schools where I grew up)
Now I'm at a large university studying Pre-vet (large university in a small city, but I love it here)

For Kindergarten and 1st, I went to a Public school, but left after 1st due to the teacher sucking.
2nd-5th I was at a Charter school, my favorite school I love it so much ohmygod
6th-8th was a Public school (I had the WORST history teacher in 7th- she almost completely ruined that subject for me)
And now, for 9th I'm at another Public school.

At the Charter, I had the best teachers! They were all nice and amazing!
In Public, there's always that one teacher who just ticks me off or just sucks

I'm unschooled, I went to reception school when I was like, 4, but my parents took me out and I've been doing my learning at home ever since.
It's nice, being able to spend all my time learning what I want, at my own pace ^-^ and loads of free time to spend with my family, too!
