Who else saw the preview trailer? I'm so hyped! I'm almost 27 but Invader Zim was SUPER big during my time when it first previewed. Yes, it may be cringey or whatever but I don't even care. I'm WAY too excited!!!!

@universewater - Haha yeah for kids I can see how it would be scary. I was a young preteen/teen when it was really around and just latched on lol. I have so many old Gir t-shirts it isn't even funny.

Cautious optimism is the rule of the day. This sort of thing goes 50/50 with cartoons.
On one hand you have Powerpuff Girls and Looney Tunes/Tom and Jerry.
On the other hand there's Samurai Jack.
And that's from Cartoon Network, which is generally better at this sort of thing (save Boomerang, but hey we're getting a streaming service that fixes this). Given that this is Nick here... I'm not too sure of this because Viacom's screwed up a lot lately with that family of channels. These are the nuts who want to make a movie out of a game show for the same reason as Invader Zim. That concerns me.
I'll probably love it either way though. Needs pigs.

I think it's great fans are getting a new entry into their favorite show. Frankly, I'm not a fan and I don't like the show, but I can appreciate the quality of the original show's animation and darker nature for a cartoon. It's not for me, but that doesn't mean I can't be glad for the fans :3 With any luck, it'll stay true to the formula that made people fall in love with it to begin with.
