I feel like making a clay statue theres a art store that sells colored clay (no its not for a big clay oven thingy its for your kitchen oven) I made a big Poochyena statue (I dont have it or a pic of it sadly I made it years ago) the inner statue was out of aluminium foil and toothpicks (to hold the foil together) and then covered in clay who else make stuff out of clay I'd love to see pics I love seeing other peoples are work c:

I like to use Sclupy(spelling?) clay! I don't have any, and I've not used it in ages, but when I did it was fun~
I've seen people use wire, foil, and tape to make their armatures. The tape is used to smooth everything out so there aren't any bumpy parts~

I used to do a lot of sculpting! It was so much fun, but the clay was expensive and I didn't have an oven in college, so I haven't used it in a few years.

Yeah, salt dough seemed perfect for kids' projects! I'd never used it until I visited my grandma while she was on a salt dough crafts kick and I didn't realize how different it'd be from polymer clay. It was a real struggle to use as a polymer clay person haha

For baking in the oven, you want Sculpey or Fimo clay. Both are polymer clay and come in a loooot of colours.
I love sculpting things, but I haven't made any models in ages! Recently all I've made with my clay have been things like claws and eyes to add to plushies. I've been really feeling the urge to sculpt a little figure of something lately though.
Here's something I made back in 2012 but I still love, a dogshark. Made from white Sculpey and painted. The teeth on this were actually carved out of the clay AFTER it was baked.

Honestly I tried making something out of clay for the first time last week and it was SO HARD. When my sibling was my age she made these anatomically correct, intricate sculptures of eagles and women and I barely managed to piece anything together.
