So, we all have those movies that we absolutely love. Then, you look it up, to see that it's a pretty hated movie.
Well, I'd love to see which movies those are for you guys!
The two on the top of my head are I, Frankenstein and Victor Frankenstein. I really love these two movies, but they're really kinda crapped upon by others xD
I, Frankenstein is just a really cool, dark movie. I love it to much to let people ruin it for me. Victor Frankenstein was pretty much the same. Anything with James McAvoy is just a win for me. I thought it was good.
I Frank didn't bomb, but it wasn't exactly a success either. VF bombed though..
I live by the rule "Watch it if you want to, you'll either like it or hate it." I don't listen to critics.

I LOVED I, FRANKENSTEIN
that was, in the wildest way possible, probably one of the most true to the book interpretations of the monster I have seen. And the fact they named him "Adam" and everything... that was shockingly enjoyable. Glad to see someone else who liked it omg

I wasn't until I watched that. It might just be me being overprotective about it, but it is one of the best movies I've seen to date. *My dad had a running joke of saying my dog was "Laying there like Batman" so that might have added to the defensiveness*
(But honestly it isn't that bad, and if you pay attention and understand what Zach was going for it all makes sense.)

i liked epic...lol. but it's been awhile since i saw it so maybe it's as bad as everyone else said it was but i remember enjoying it a lot....and this may be unpopular but the first alpha and omega movie wasn't bad. it wasnt great but people were too hard on it.
also apparently ice age 2 wasn't super popular with critics and i legit thought it was the best movie of the series.

Not sure what critics think of it, but my all time favorite movie is Brian De Palma's Phantom of the Paradise (1974). It was a box office flop literally everywhere except Winnipeg.

I really like the second Amazing Spiderman Movie. People said it was too cluttered and yeah there where 2-3 story lines in one movie you had to follow, but I thought it was really well made. In my opinion it was paced very well and everything made sense and was actually easy to follow. To this day I can't understand the people complaining about "too much content" in this one. I loved it <3
It is kind of sad that they make yet another remake instead of continuing this one, but oh well.

I also think Epic was awesome the first time I watched it. It wasn't as good a movie if you rewatch it in my opinion, but still a good movie in general. Don't know why people didn't like it :/ And Alpha and Omega had some flaws, but I still liked it in the end :) I think if they changed the pacing a bit it would have been a pretty good movie. Also Ice Age 2 was really good <3

*raises hand* I thought Meet the Spartans was hilarious. Leonidas' death at the end still cracks me up. XD
As a sidenote, I still kind of wanna see The Dark Tower and Valerian. I heard they were just so-so, but I'm still curious about them.

I genuinely enjoyed all the films in the Alien franchise, and really liked Prometheus despite what critics and fans said about it.
Also both the Tron films are favorites of mine.
