Have any of y'all played it? It's on Steam for free, and I would highly recommend it if you love horror!

Y'ALL I JUST FINISHED PLAYING AND I SCREAMED SO LOUD

I haven't, but it seems interesting! At first glance, I thought it was going to be this weird dating simulator involving literary characters/famous authors, but I'm glad that's not the case- (But now that I mention it, I wonder if it's already a thing...) I'm always a fan of dark plots honestly. It's a shame that I don't have a Steam account and am a total wimp around horror ggggggg-

Haven't played it, but I've watched it through a couple times from youtubers. I haven't truly been scared by a game in such a long time; Doki Doki Literature Club was a good refresher. I'm a fan of meta horror, and this was exactly what I was looking for.

I plan on looking into it eventually? I've heard its first glance is very deceiving but that's about it
I've also seen Tumblr dragging it for whatever reason but that's nothing new

I started watching MatPat and Steph play it tonight! 2 and a half videos in and I already need a break. I'm feeling slightly distressed. Also, I really need to get back to my homework. X'D

@ShadmeTheAngel Hey, me too! I was lucky enough to watch the play through live, and I must agree. Distressing is a very accurate word for the entirety of this game.

All the same, I really enjoyed watching it, and I even downloaded it onto my computer. Life is giving me an unfortunate kick in the pants at the moment, so I haven't had time to play, but I'm looking forward to when I can!

I haven't played it yet but it's already in my Steam haha. I want to finish the semester before I play but I've already heard a lot about it xD

@WizardandGalaxy Ah man, I can't imagine what that must have been like live! The tension would be so real. Though I imagine there were probably also a fair share of party poopers trying to spoil everything. :P I don't have a Steam account, otherwise I'd totally look into getting some of these games I watch people play. It seems like that game has quite a bit of interactivity! Some people were talking about messing with game files- I haven't gotten far enough into it to see why that would be important, but I find it quite neat if that actually does affect stuff in later run-throughs or in the game in general. :0

i have a few friends who play it and they say it's really interesting. i have an idea of what happens and yeah, it definitely takes a turn. but i believe the game has a depression and anxiety warning at the beginning (or so i was told) so i'm staying away from it, as the last time i didn't listen to those warnings i ended up in a horrible mental state.
my point is: if you have depression and/or anxiety then this game might not be for you.

aside from all that, i really wish i could play. i want to know more about what happens!

Got a little bit farther, but decided to take a break again. I'm 50 minutes into MatPat's final stream! Yuri's giving me creepy vibes and it's late at night and I don't want to give myself nightmares. X'D

Edit: Finally finished the playthrough! Thank goodness I had the good sense to stop watching last night. Yikes is all I have to say. e.e
