A boy by the name of Shugo is about to become the commander of a strong force in his city, which is set in a clashing "war zone" between people's idealistic lives; in a nutshell, innovation vs. tradition. However, the day before his title is bestowed upon him, a mysterious entity referred to as Dakusei spreads throughout the city, infecting townsfolk with its malicious toxins, which may make a single person completely braindead. As the skies darken, it seems that no hope remain; however, Shugo steps up, eradicating all of the Dakusei in the area. However, a rumble emerges from the ground, as the malice-filled Darkrai rises from within the earth. An already weaked Shugo tries to fight back, but to no avail, as a terrible curse is inflicted onto Shugo by Darkrai, preventing him from becoming a commander, and ultimately, slowly turning him into a Pokemon referred to as Marshadow. With the help of the last remaining Gijinka on the now monochromatic Earth, it is up to him to ultimately free all citizens of Earth from Darkrai's control, whilst finding a way to break his curse, before time runs dry.
(Cast of gijinka characters include a Primarina, Jirachi, Fennekin, Alolan Ninetales, and a Leafeon thus far. If you want to see this trashy FF, gimme some suggestions :0)

I have this half-formed Doctor Who fanfic involving The Doctor of the normal series travelling to a parallel reality and meeting his alternate self, the Doctor of the old American films (where Peter Cushing played a very human inventor called Dr. Who). It involves Daleks and Cybermen (including Pete's World Cybermen and old series Cybermen alike) and an alternate version of The Valeyard trying to take over several realities.
Don't know if I'll ever finish it, but it is a fun idea to think about from time to time.
