I just watched this on Amazon Prime and it’s a really sweet movie! It’s a little cheesy and low budget but no worse than, say, LadyHawke (hmmm I should watch that again...)

Yes, it's a good movie indeed. My brother and I are collecting movies (also books, games, etc.) about dragons and I Am Dragon is one of the best, I have to admit. There are only a few which are better, while Dragonheart from 1996 is still on top. ^^

Can't say it's a great movie, but the concept is good, the dragon is lovely.
Acting is really awkward though. It's kind of a common problem in Russian movies I guess. Compared to other Russian... hm, cinematography it's very good. Not sure I watched enough dragon movies to compare.
