Watercolor Subspecies | General Discussion

This is my first ever subspecies, which is co-owned by @NightlyNorion[/center] [center][url=URL HERE][img]https://orig00.deviantart.net/30af/f/2018/094/e/0/e0631d3c7627d30baf45b7ccb85f27e8-dc7xkzh.png[/img][/url][/center] [b]LORE[/b] A long time ago, a pair of Skydancers worked together as artist, and would paint great masterpieces. Typically, they would work in watercolors, so they could usually afford the great amount of paint it would take to create huge masterpieces, some almost as big as Imperials. They would most often consist of colorful dragons of all different breeds. Unfortunately, their paintings would almost never sell. The male, Abalone, offered the idea of trying a new occupation. Wisper, the female, disagreed, and insisted that they just needed to create something to catch everyone's attention. They both argued about how the future would end up, and Abalone left, taking their hatchlings with him. Wisper was devastated, and longed to have them back. She knew though, that they would never return. Abalone would make sure of that. In her loneliness, she consulted a mage, who promised that she could give her new children, at the price of what started their argument: all of their unsold art. Wisper agreed, and she said that tomorrow to bring it every piece of art she hadn't sold to the mage’s home the next day. But, against her luck, it rained that day, and she had nothing to cover her art with. She did the best she could to keep it dry, but some of the paint was still washed away. She presented what she had to the mage, and to her amazement, the now splotchy dragons flew off the page, growing into full-sized dragons. Wisper was delighted, as they flew around, giggling and smiling with joy. She loved all her new children, and cherished each and every one.
