TOPIC | Plants, anyone?

Okay, so, does anyone else here own any plants?
Herbs, succulents, cacti, leafy houseplants, vegetables, etc. I want to know about them all.

I've got about 15 plants, a majority of them being random succulents my mother and I picked up at various stores.

If you have pictures, please send them! I'd love to see :0

@bootcoin I have some plants! They're my precious wisteria trees that I'm growing!! The two big ones are going to be blue blooming ones, while the one on the left, that just got a sprout is going to be lavender. There's even a sprout in the one in the back, but it's too small to see in a picture. It'll be a white one~ I can't wait until they're big enough to let them live outside where they belong, but that'll be a while. :x They're so small, but they're growing quite fast.

I have soooo many plants, I love them all. We have a really long winter here and indoor green really helps keep the blues away :)

My favorite plant is my jasmine plant, but I love all my succulents and terrariums too! I've branched into trying carnivorous plants, but started easy with a butterwort. Its so cute, and doing well so far!

@bootcoin - Right now, I have three spider plants, two of which are babies, given to me by various people. I rooted them, and they're now happily in soil. The other one was given to me at Christmas and is not as small as the other two, but isn't fully grown yet. Two of my spider plants are solid green and the other is variegated. c: I have four Thanksgiving cacti, all adults but still growing. I got two from friends and family, one of those because it was too much to take care of, and the other two are ones I bought. ^-^ The oldest of the four is around 7-8 years old, and was the first of two to blossom! It had lovely pink flowers. The other one to bloom was one I bought, but because of being overwatered by the store, it dropped its buds, grew new leaves, and then came back with more blossoms! =D Alas, neither of the flowerings were anywhere near Thanksgiving. :P I have two pothos, one golden and the other unknown but still pretty, nonetheless! The non-golden pothos I bought a few years ago, and even now, is still growing! There seems to be more and more foliage every time I see it! ^^ The golden pothos is one from a couple months ago. I remember how tiny it was, and now it's way bigger! Not trailing quite yet, like the other one has begun to, but still growing at a steady pace. I have a kalanchoe, which is a pretty little succulent that flowers! It was a gift, and it's not very big right now, but this summer I'm hoping to put it in the sun and watch it take off. ^^ I have another two succulents, but I don't know what type they are, as both were gifts and the gifters didn't know, either. ^^; The first one I've named Harmony, and it's got the cutest little leaves ever! She's been through a bit of chaos, on my bad, I'm afraid. I was soaping her leaves to get rid of mites, and clumsy me knocked her into the tub and successfully shattered her pot, which ended up taking half of her new growth off the top and a couple leaves elsewhere. I replanted her that day and she's been doing fine, already regrowing! The other one is still unnamed, but it's cute! I have this one in a decorative watering can for a pot, it's really pretty! (The aesthetic, am I right?) I haven't really seen new growth yet, but it's going to take off soon, what with the nice spring weather and all. I have a jade who's small still, but is loved dearly! c: She's got a cute little yellow pot and in summer, she's going to enjoy the sun and grow some more. She was also a gift! ^^ I recently got an orange star plant for Easter, and even though it's small, it's beautiful. I have plans to repot it, and I'm hoping to see the precious orange blossoms next year, too, if possible. c: I have a cutting of a plant I swear I knew the name of a couple weeks ago, but can't seem to remember now. It's purple on the underside of the leaves, and purplish-green on the top. It's really pretty - I hope my cutting ends up taking off and not dying; they're supposed to be hardy plants, after all! c: I got an ivy recently, and I'm loving the heck outta it! It's grown since I repotted it, for sure, and I'm so excited for it to start trailing! It's a lovely light green, and the pot I currently have it in, a light grey one with white polka dots, really makes the green pop. ^^ I have three umbrella plant cuttings from a friend. One of three has rooted so far, even though it's been about a month. All three cuttings are 20+ years of age. I got a maiden hair fern today! I'm going to repot it when the weather is warmer. c: I'm also hoping to start a garden this summer! I have four blueberry bushes and they're fantastic, so adding to my harvest would be amazing. I'd like to grow some green and yellow beans, and maybe strawberries. ^-^ I'm also interested in growing some herbs - my grandma is currently growing me some basil, so that'll be a great start to an herb garden! My plants are camping on this table for right now as the room they live in is being redone! =D In the last photo, all plants but my fern are there. c:

Just went to the local plant sale this morning and loaded up on plants to fill up the spaces in my garden that didn't have perennials already. :} My rosemary, lemon balm, Greek oregano, thyme, and catnip survived from last year; I had a Goodwin Creak lavender that was doing fine until we had a snap cold spell in January that just knocked it down too hard.

Anyway, to refill the garden this year, I got three tomatoes--German Johnson, black cherry, and one I can't remember what it is so it'll be a surprise I guess; two bell peppers (bull nose and California wonder), purple basil, pineapple sage, another Goodwin Creek lavender, German chamomile, and two cantaloupe plants. This'll be my first time ever attempting cantaloupes, and I really hope they work out because I sure do love melons.

I also picked up two hostas of unknown type, because you can't live in the South and not have hostas. Last year I got a sunburst hybrid tea rose bush that's doing well, and I planted a whole bunch of daylilies around the yard. Plus a whole bunch of irises my grandma sent me from her own garden. No idea what colors any of the flowers (other than the rose) are going to be. Should be interesting.

Um...let's see...my house had some magenta crepe myrtles out back when I moved in, and these trees I call the goth trees, they've got dark purple leaves and I didn't realize until this year that they put out bright pink flowers. I think they might be loropetalums of some sort.

And that's about it for the interesting plants I have around my house!
