TOPIC | Worst movie you've ever seen?

Inspired by the 'Worst book you've ever read?' thread, I was curious to see what movies people really didn't like. Unlike the thread for movies generally viewed as total garbage, I was thinking this could be a place to rant about movies that could otherwise be seen as good (ie, not mockbusters or things like The Room), but you personally didn't like.

I'll start with my two least favorite movies, that generally have gotten pretty wide praise: Gone with the Wind, and The Piano. What irritated me the most about both of them, is the characters were so unlikable and continuously making terrible decisions, I wanted to see them suffer, in the hopes the movie would end sooner, and end my own suffering. GwtW I know is a classic, and The Piano was praised for its cinematography, but... I thought the characters were all such fools, and the stories were so asinine, I couldn't care less about what people praised them for.

So, what about you? What objectively good or average movie(s) could you simply not stand?

Patch Adams for more legit movies, the titular character was completely unlikable and shallow, as was basically the rest of the cast. And when the girl died? and her entire back story? all forced, poorly done and added nothing to the movie . The actual doctor it was based on wasn't a fan either, it was just a crap movie.

I wasn't a fan of Divergent. My friend made me watch it. I didn't even read the book.

The Box.

Like...seriously. The whole movie is about A BOX, and what's supposed to be in it. And the person trying to sell it to people and make them open it. But when it comes down to it, it becomes this fricking creepy religious movie that had nothing to do with the price of eggs. I still don't understand it to this day. It was weird.

Dr. Strange?
Listen I love marvel but Dr. Strange was very boring to me. I like the character in other films, but not in his solo movie.

Plus it reminded me a lot of the marvel tv shows for some reason, and it seemed like the first few episodes of a dr. strange tv show more than a movie.

Oz the Great and Powerful was mediocre at best, with terrible actors, a nonsensical plot, and horrible CGI. A friend of mine said it ruined the musical Wicked for her, and though I've never seen that musical, I can see why very clearly.

The Lightning Thief movie. Also bad acting, crappy CGI, and a plot that pretty much took a steaming dump on the book. I could write a good long essay about everything wrong with the Lightning Thief movie, but I'll spare you.

The 1998 Les Misérables movie with Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush, and Claire Daines. People nark on the 2012 version for Russell Crowe's lack of singing talent, but at least that one follows the plot and characterization of its source material better than the 1998 version.

Changed plot points include:

Valjean punching the gracious bishop in the face so hard he knocks him out cold as he's stealing the guy's silver, despite this, the bishop is still completely okay with giving Valjean all of the silver, because we can't change that part of the plot but we can add this violent moment that is so out of character

Valjean beating Javert's head into a wall until a bloodstain is left when Fantine is dying in the hospital

Cosette being whiny and insufferable as both a child and an adult

Marius being the leader of the revolution for some reason

The movie ending on Valjean smiling widely, music swelling, as he walks away from the spot where Javert just committed suicide.

Hey, friendly reminder to drink water, stretch, and take a short break if you can. Stay healthy! Also, don't forget about any chores or tasks you might be putting off.
Like anything released this year lmao.
