TOPIC | Suggest me podcasts/anime/manga/whatever
Looking for some suggestions!! Ever wanted to suggest or talk about that special something you love? feel free to if its among this!

Im looking for suggestions of
-Podcasts - Spanish preferred and English is good, specially if it has transcripts
-Anime - airing or finished
-Manga - publishing or finished
-Books in Spanish - if English then 300 pages or less only
-Movies (if <1.5h then better) - I usually prefer cartoon/anime movies
-Videogames! (indie or not, both good)

My main language is Spanish and I have a lot less trouble with things in that one but English is my second so as long as its not super complex I should be able to deal with it :)

The things that are a big no for me are horror/gore, mechas/robots, ecchi (uh), pure history (I get it can be interesting but its not my best).

Some "yes" things for me are science (specially bio or medicine but not from a gross illness/patients cases or things like that), sci-fi, fantasy, action, adventure, some drama, some comedy, RPG, animals, cute/warm stuff (not necesarily romance) and mythology.

If it helps, I love The Adventure Zone (Balance), my fav anime stuff is Steins;gate, Mushishi, Natsume Yuujinchou and Your Name, fav manga World Trigger and Pandora Hearts. As for books I havent read in a while anything that isnt Warrior Cats to be really honest haha and for videogames Okami is 10/10 but I also love pokemon mystery dungeon, zero escape, bravely default, professor Layton and Zelda games.

Do you know Webtoons? Webtoons has a lot of beautiful comics, it's kinda like manga, but has different art styles. I usually go for the dramatic & romantic stuff, but they do have other genres like you mentioned before (action/fantasy/comedy/cute stuff). Maybe you'll find something nice to read ^^

Have you ever watched/read Shingeki No kyojien? (attack on titan) if not, I HIGHLY recommend it! The manga is wonderful, and you can see how the author really improved his drawing! The story line in my personal opinion is very intriguing, and he tends to surprise (and also kill) a lot. The anime follows it actually very nicely, as much as they can. Right now, season three is in the making and almost here!

So basically, it takes place in Germany in 300 or so BC. Titans (giant, naked humanoid monsters (thank the LORD he didn't make them have body parts XD)) are wandering around the earth, suddenly, out of the blue. They began eating the humans, and humanity was almost extinct in over a night. Walls were built, and fast forward a few years, we are in Eren Yeager's POV. A giant titan kicks a hole (mind u, these walls are HUGE) And titans flood the city, eating almost everyone. I won't spoil what happens, but the anime continues with Eren and Friends joining the Scouts, on hopes to dESTROYALLTITANASSSSSSSS in revenge. I can't really give much more, or else I would ruin it. But, there IS a lot of gore and blood, so if that's not your thing, then I wouldn't recommend watching.

@Yokudl
Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'm most likely checking out B: the beginning! also I couldn't link to myanimelist because it's still recovering from maintenance, but I've watched psycho pass and really enjoyed it.

@PyroQuill
I couldn't link myanimelist nor mangalist because it's still a bit down but...sorry to disappoint you there, I dropped the manga some months ago because I just couldn't keep up with it ;; I don't have problem with that type of gore/blood because at least it's justified, but I reached a certain arc in the manga that just made me drop it woops.

My Brother My Brother and Me is a hilarious podcast that I recommend!
it's basically just 3 brothers giving rly poor and funny advice to people with problems
If you like TAZ you should definitely like MBMBAM haha, considering it's the same people

Copy/paste from another post (removing some that you might not like) + adding others :

Violet Evergarden (full of feels ! anime has differences with manga)

Made in Abyss (same, cried a bit :'D)

Houseki no Kuni (especially if you're into gems *-*)

Death Parade

Golden Kamuy? Pretty tragic events (has a bit of history but it's not much - at episode 10 - idk if there's gonna be a second season tho?)

The Ancient Magus Bride (Mahoutsukai no Yome)

Kamisama no Memo chou

Darker than Black

Sekaisuru Kado

Kokkoku - that one was soooo stressful XD (starts a bit slow tho)

Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau

Bungou Stray Dogs (2 seasons)

Devils Line (10 episodes at the moment)

Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen

AKB0048

Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi (tho as it deals with time travel it's not necessarily to anyone's taste, related to how one sees time travel)

Owari no Seraph

To Aru Majutsu no Index and To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (2 seasons each (in different points of view), chronogically it's (if I am not wrong) To Aru Majutsu no Index > To Aru Kagaku no Railgun > To Aru Majutsu no Index season 2 > To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S)

Sora no Woto (is okay)

When Marnie was there (movie - studio Ghibli)

Hinamatsuri

Rokuhoudo Yotsuiro Biyori (gives warm feeling, definitely the one to watch if you're feeling down)

Blend S

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi

Kekkai Sensen

Quan Zhi Gao Shou (The King's Avatar) - [about mmo]

That should be enough for a while? xd

@Hikumi
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a classic! I'm sure you've already seen of it or heard of it, but just in case - totally check it out! It's on Netflix, and I seriously consider it to be one of the greatest stories ever told.

Kekkai Sensen is also really good! The animation, characters, music, and atmosphere are all very unique and interesting! Although it is pretty episodic, which doesn't appeal to some people. The first season sort of has a plot, while the second season mostly just focuses on characters and their lives.

Yep actually I'm going to give a try! it's on my to listen list :) however since there's so so so so many eps and I didn't find any transcripts, I picked up a list someone did of their 7 personal best eps of MBMBaM

@SpectralKitten
Gosh I wish I could really share myanimelist but its still down :_ let's start with the ones I know:

Violet evergarden? one of my favs this year
MiA and HnK? two of my three favs of last year
Death parade made me cry in the end ;;
I'm following Golden kamuy this season yep!
I watched Ancient magus bride but ended up a little bit meh for me? but I liked the overall environment!
Bungou Stray Dogs heckie yes, I'm up to date with the manga
Erased was a pretty enjoyable one too
Owari no seraph, currently following the manga too even though I'm a few eps behind
Kekkai sensen heckie yes too, so enjoyable!

As for the others I haven't seen, my friends suggested me a few of those but I didn't decide yet to watch or not - I can tell you I've added a few more to my to watch list :') thanks!

@hesma
FMAB is like, the 5th anime I watched being conscious of what anime is...I should rewatch it, it's been like 6 years now. And Kekkai sensen yep, watched both seasons, it's chaotic plot-wise but so enjoyable and fun! :)
