I found this lot at the thrift store smooshed in a bag for 3.43 Only one problem Im super new to pokemon collecting and not sure what set this is or gen? I know some of them are from different collections thats obvious but i would like to pinpoint what set it is so i can try to figure out which one I want to focus on collecting specifically. :3 [img]https://i.imgur.com/yv3F5E8.jpg[/img] [img]https://i.imgur.com/l1xHbYo.jpg[/img]

They've probably moved other stuff around over the expansions as well. Considering there are pink cards in there, indicating the Fairy Type, which is relatively new, I'd say they're from X/Y series and onward. Though, there may be a few Black/White ones.

As someone who collected them since they started printing them, I'd say it's your best bet to just focus on the newest card packs. X/Y and onward, specifically. Any older and you might be paying a lot more than what they're worth, but you're paying more for them now than they were back in the day so...
I'd just say stick with the newest ones.

OH GOSH I'm in the middle of collecting all the pokemon cards in existence so I can help you out if you need it!!

First, I suggets going on pokellector, you can look up exactly what card you have and see what set it comes from!! It should also tell you the date the set was released as well and how valuable the card is!

thats so cool!! where do you go to get your cards? do you normally do online? i like the feeling of finding em at thrift stores haha

I usually get them from a place called Win Condition Games (if you're in the Kennesaw area in Georgia I super suggest them!!), but I also order them off of TCGPlayer online!!

It really depends on how tired I am or how much money I want to spend that day |D
