So I just finished Portal and Portal 2 single player, and wow, these are good games. I'm definitely playing co-op with a friend once I get a chance to! The one problem: I must now fill the void with fandom, but it is old. 7 years old. Is it even relevant anymore? I don't know.
Does the fandom still exist? I must talk about this game. And get my own sentry turret, they are adorable. But more importantly, I must talk about this awesome game.
Like seriously. Come here and talk to me about this game.
edit: I do not know what happened to that poor quotation mark in the title

*crashes through ceiling* DID SOMEBODY SAY PORTAL.
Portal will always be relevant. I think it's about 50% of my personality and 25% of my genetic makeup at this point. >.>

haha oh yeah man portal is defo still relevant. i beat the games maybe two, three years ago but just a few weeks ago me nd my friends hosted a forum game with big big inspiration from portal. i'm not super into the fandom but i absolutely still replay those games and build maps for co-op on portal 2. tbh i consider it a classic - i think a lot of ppl do! one of those games that u will always fondly remember and honestly never stop loving it.

I love Portal! I definitely need to replay it soon, they're some of my favorite games.
If you haven't played Portal Stories: Mel yet, I highly recommend it. It's a free fan-made game that is really well done. The characters in it are wonderful and it honestly plays just as well as the official games.
Aperture TAG is another nice fan-made game, but that one costs a bit of money and the characters and story aren't so interesting. The gameplay is really fun if you like working with those blue and orange paints, though.

I played slightly over half of the second game (yeah...) and it was really good, I may one day finish it and the first one.
It's definitely still relevant though.

I was part in the fandom in 2013, still have my own portal gun, turret cosplay, lots of other trinkets I threw away while moving out including a lifesize inflatable turret lol
I roleplayed Cave Johnson for 3 years

Since thread creation, I have read the comic and rewatched and digested the end again... and like, this plot has more holes than GLaDOS' soul, but I love it so much. Too bad Robot Lady deleted her character development at the end. :(

I think the first time I upgraded my laptop it was to play Portal, and since then I've played the games an unhealthy amount. They're good, wish I could play them for the first time again.
