It's been my first summer with my own private herb garden where I can plant whatever I want and I've been enjoying it so much! I've started collecting them and drying them and I've been playing around with making my own tea mixtures. I'm really new to this and I'd love to hear any good blends or cool experiences anyone else has had!
My herb list so far consists of beebalm, sage, pineapple sage, sweet mint, lavender, basil, rosemary, parsley, cilantro, and thyme, anyone got ideas for what I should plant next? I've got room to spare :)

I have some lemon balm and catnip in my garden that grow great. The catnip especially makes good tea, though I have to be careful because my cats will try to stick their faces in boiling hot cups of tea just to get their 'nip fix :p. Haven't tried mixing a lot of herbs together yet, mostly I use them for cooking rather than tea, but I think I did a mint and bee balm mix once that was decent. My bee balm plant got hit hard by the powdery mildew last year though so I had to nuke it.
Oh and I had some great German chamomile plants last year. Took me all summer to fill a little jar with the flowers then then the stupid thing got MOLD in it >:[[[[[. I was SO MAD. I've tried again this year, didn't get nearly as many as last year but it'll be enough for a couple cups of tea.
My garden this year got a bit overrun by grass, I got busy with other things and wasn't able to keep up with it. But it hasn't been growing great because we've had cruddy weather. Global warming amirite.

I've wanted to make my own true tea but I live in a cold climate and those plants don't do well here, but I might settle for growing mint for herbal tea bc mint is ez to grow

Oh! I've never thought to use catnip in tea, and my mom has some lemon balm that's getting out of control, I think I could snag a plant off of her. I've never had much luck with chamomile, I'll have to get all mine store bought until I can figure that one out. And mulch is your friend when you garden, I haven't had to weed much of anything this year with fresh mulch down. And silica gel packets are a life saver when storing stuff like that, just toss one in before you close it and it'll keep the mold off

You can always keep plants in the windowsill, that's what I've got planned to get me through the winter
