Tell me about recommended dragon books, preferable ones where the dragons are the POV.

I already read WOF, so don't recommend that lol

I've heard Eragon is really good, but I've never read it myself

I came here to obsessively collect unbred G1s and drink milk, and I'm all outta milk.
I remember really liking Dragon Slippers and the Age of Fire series when I was younger, maybe take a look at those?

Are the POVs dragons? What's the story about?

It's been awhile, but I believe Dragon Slippers was about this girl who gets some valuable slippers from a dragon due to him making her a promise to give her any pair of shoes from his collection? And she get captured by a different dragon who saved her some bandits or something. Then she befriends that dragon and eventually leave him to go to the city to become a seamstress? And then things happen and she fights someone with the dragon she befriended? It pretty fuzzy, but it wasn't from the dragons perspective.

I never finished the Age of Fire series, but the first one goes over the life of one dragon who, from the outstart of life, isn't expected to live for very long due to him lacking scales. That eventually proves to be a benefit for him as he travels the land, encounting a variety of creatures along the way. I wouldn't really say that there's much of a plot other than the main character trying to survive in a world that doesn't want much to do with him and his kind. The climax of the story is kinda set up at the beginning, but otherwise I remember it just kinda coming out of nowhere, but that was a while ago. I read the 3 book after the first one, and they were ok, but I lost interest after the 4th one.

There’s always Gork, the Teenage Dragon by Gabe Hudson. A funny, crazy coming of age story.

Lmao no offence at all, but that doesn't sound like something that would interest me.

I'll have to check Age Of Fire out!

The Temeraire series is about a Navy captain becoming a dragon's handler during the Napoleonic wars and it's probably my favorite dragon books outside of WoF! I've only read a few books and Temeraire isn't the veiwpoint character though, sadly. There's also The Erth Dragons - I've only read the first book but a majority is from the viewpoint of a dragon.

I wish there were more dragon PoV books. :( I've been working on writing my own but it's not the same as reading one lol

It's pretty good! It is a YA novel so it's not the most complicated. The basic plot is dragons come to Earth to colonize it, but they went missing and a second group is sent over to settle and figure out what went wrong.
