I am so excited for Elder Scrolls 6. Here we can discuss what we're worried about, what we want in the game, any predictions, expectations, and of course- when is it going to be released??? Any fans of the series welcome, you don't need to know every single thing about the games to join in!

It would be hilarious if they packed it full of microtransactions and basically turned it into a second Fallout 76.

@VenusStarling yeah I think you're right, but Hammerfell could still be awesome! I agree with what you said about race mattering. In Skyrim it felt completely irrelevant.. like I was playing as an Altmer Stormcloak, which just felt wrong, but the Nords didn't see fit to mention it? :/ and when my Dunmer came to Solstheim, it felt great because she was surrounded by her own people, but I didn't feel that kind of camaraderie. The dialogue options I also agree with, and I hope characters get a lot more voice lines- in particular, I get so frustrated with my spouse only having a couple of lines, and I can only ask them if we've made any money or they can cook me a meal...? Not the happiest marriage lol.
I hope it isn't released as late as 2024. It would seem silly to announce it in 2018, then release it six years later.

I hope it's written better, but if Fallout 4 is any indication to what it'll be like then I'm not sure hhh

I love TES and I'm super nostalgic for Skyrim (I got it when I was 11 or 12) but the main quest and characters, especially companions and followers*, were... lacklustre

I just want a new TES game with good writing. Or Skywind. (sweats)

* All of them apart from Cicero. Cicero best boy.

Edit: I'm also hoping it'll be set in Elsweyr or some place like that- gimme that sweet sweet Khajiit lore I wanna see all the breeds in action god dammit why did they have to put alfiq in online i hate my life

If it's in Hammerfell I wouldn't mind, though. I never really played a Redguard but from what I've seen of it in ESO it seems pretty cool. Valenwood could be fun too, I like Bosmer and trees
I'd love to see Black Marsh too but realistically it probably wouldn't be possible. There's a reason Argonians have disease resistance kdgvjd

You guys make a lot of great points! I think in regards to the dialogue changes, they've done a pretty good job with npcs acknowledging what race you are when it matters. Like I just made a new character recently who's a high elf (never played one, I'm always a Khajiit), and the npcs kept making references to my heritage and about how I'd never been to Summerset which I really appreciated ! I hope that they'll go in that direction.

I'm pretty much down for it being anywhere besides the Black Marshes or Vvardenfell. I'm not a huge fan of desolate wastelands ! I love me some trees and mountains and rivers ... which is maybe why I feel so at home in Skyrim.

Regardless of when it comes out, I hope they don't rush release it like they have been recently with their bigger titles. I'd rather wait awhile and have a polished game than get it sooner and it be full of bugs and inconsistencies.
