TOPIC | Need distraction ideas!
soooo...
This is a tad awkward but basically I need distractions!
I've gone through a really weird break up that I have no idea what actually happened and it's caused some bad mental problems. Anyone thats a guru in this sort o thing feel free to hit me up cause no one in my life seems to understand whats happened ahah.

Either way! I need distractions and netflix can only do so much and the same with overwatch. Can't seem to get my head into drawing and I'd love to be part of a community again since I kind of disappeared from a lot of them. (darn you tumblr and your dying community! *shakes fist*)

Any suggestions would be grand!

@gh0stknife find a hobby you enjoy! like gardening or sewing! i find this helps me a lot whenever im not feeling great.
no idea for relationship/breakup type advice tho, never been in one.

My go-to is cleaning or organizing things. Refolding clothes, making the wardrobe look nice, same with my books or whatever. Clean sheets, clean shower. For me its distracting and feels nice after too.
Letsplays, podcasts or cooking videos on youtube tend to help me too, or cooking/baking something.
I hope there's something in there that might help~

@Charbar all my old hobbies i cant seem to do anymore, i can't garden either because the whether is horrid! That and i deal with flowers at my job all day XD

I've been trying that, manage it for a bit and then it becomes a tip in like 2 days ahaha but hopefully if i keep repeating it, it'll help!

• Reading / Writing (however, beware of dwelling!)
• Hanging out with friends?
• Think of the wonders of the world: The mysteries of space!! The ocean!! The Arctic!! Etc!!
• Look up some pretty places / vacation spots you can go in future ( Switzerland, France, Hawaii, Brazil, )
• Roleplay? If you like doing that. Sometimes forgetting your current life and pretending you’re in another, better one helps
• Clean/Organize your room or even just a folder. It’ll make you feel accomplished and responsible :)
• Meditate. Recollecting yourself every now and then helps you stay grounded. Insence smells sometimes help!
• Give yourself a break. Have some of your favorite foods, go watch your favorite movie, etc.
• Food! Try some new foods or learn some recipes!
• Listen to some music. Do pick the correct genres/songs though, some to keep you going in the day and help fall asleep at night; no sad songs!


Basically, if you really need to get your mind off the situation, focus on either yourself or new things for yourself. Who knows? You might find a whole topic you will decide to make into a career! Most importantly, know that there’s always something to do. Always.
