i can knit, crochet and lucet, and i really love yarn, let's talk about yarn and how we have fun with it

I can't knit or anything but one time I had this bunch of yarn, so I made this like 6-8 foot long braid out of yarn and hung it from the vent above my bed and I would like tie stuff to it, like a tiny metal basket and this Aladin figurine that I swung back and forth and the foot accidentally made a tiny dent in the wall that's still there too this day.

Bought a $600 spinning wheel so now I can spin my own yarn. Can weave and mildly crochet.

i can crochet and knit. have crocheted a fair amount of hats (and also knitted a couple), not much else lol. tho i do also have a granny square blanket i made and i'm still kinda proud of that so ayyy

and currently knitting some kind of scarf from a yarn with nifty colours so that's rlly nice too (found the yarn at a local reuse center, shows some teeny signs of use indeed, but otherwise rlly nice. transitions between pink, purple, orange, purple at fixed intervals)

and last semester i took a course on dyeing woollen yarn n bones w plantstuff so that's also real nice. i still have some yarn a friend of mine gifted me some years ago, warmwhitish + darkgreyish, the wool from the sheep at her parents', very local. would perhaps love to deal with those, but would have to wash them first haha

I crochet! I'm currently working on an Atlanticus project, I'm so close to finishing.... I've been working on it since last November.

i can crochet origami and it's really fun making them, my favorite is the octopus and the ghost. i do a lot of scarfs too, knitted or crocheted. i'm just starting on the hats.

i crochet, mostly, and can do the very very basics of knitting (knit+purl and that's it. yarn over whomst????) and... yeah even though i live in a tiny apartment my yarn stash grows ever larger.

literally my entire day today was improved because the skein of scheepjes whirl i ordered arrived today lol

I do my work on a loom kit someone gave me. Apparently I’ve become known for my love of tedious tasks and craftiness. It;s mostly something I do at night, with nobody to bother me and my scarf in progress.

I can knit and have attempted to crochet with little success >.< Everything I make via crochet seems to curve so probably I'm doing something wrong when I get to the end of a chain and work my way back down. Later today I'm going to start and try to make socks on my own! Should be fun...
