Personally, for me it was the first song in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. Rose and Miles were definitely some of my favorite characters.

Oh, but can't you feel it?! The void, it's calling me- Calling all of us! It wants to eat our souls, so that we never ascend to the heavens, it wants to absorb us! It needs sustenance, so that it may expand and envelop this whole useless world! All that muck and grime, the ooze, it will fill every crevice of reality, and it will change the world into a paradise! All you have to do is live to see it!
And why aren't I scared? Because the void is the afterlife, and I am its Grim Reaper!

Hm, let's scrape the old memory.
I think for me it'd have to be from Fallout 3. That one part where you've finally found your dad, you left the vault just to go after him and braved so many dangers and risked oh so much just to finally get to him. And you did, you finally have him back in your arms again, and the very next few days after you are reunited with your dad, everything falls to crap again. It's that one part that gets me, where everything seems fine, and you're doing repairs for your dad and Dr. Li, and the dreaded Enclave shows up. That part where he's forced into the activation chamber but causes a disruption instead, a distraction for you to get away. Watching his hand slide on the glass, watching him fall... Oh man, my heart broke. I've never wanted to cry more from a video game. That crap hit way too close to home.

Woooo gosh, I had a lot of sad moments in video games. Also one of the only ways I can cry is over characters from video games and other media. So let's see some of my top sad moments:
- Being emotionally and mentally unprepared to cry over my boi, Lavitz Slambert, from the game The Legend of Dragoon. I'm still not over that scene and it's been years.
- Also FFXV. Maaaan, I made myself so dehydrated from the amount of tears shed from that game haaaah.
- MOTHER 3. I have such lovely memories of Mother 2/Earthbound, but lol Mother 3 made me cry so much, especially the ending.

Not going into specifics since the game is still relatively new, but oh LAWD episode 4 of sally face. it's just one tragic thing after another and i Did Cry and it Still Hurts
