This thread is very unsurprising coming from someone named Anduin ^^; But hello! I was wondering if there's any active WoW fans out there on this site? I would love to make more WoW friends on here!!! Also if you currently play how is the new 8.2 patch going for you :0!! Nazjatar is so pretty! The pvp world event is pretty fun too! Bfa has been so boring so I'm really glad this patch has come out when it did, as I was getting quite tired of Kul Tiras and Zandalar. I'm very tempted to start planning a Queen Azshara dragon now! I haven't been to Mechagon yet but it's probably decently fun as well! I've played WoW since I was 6 at the start of BC so I am quite passionate about this game [emoji=coatl tongue size=1] But how is everything for you all? Are you enjoying the current expac? Have any fave expacs or previous major patch release dates? I quite miss the Pandaria days myself. (Given I am a huge fan of Wrathion and the whole aesthetics of the Pandaren peoples). It really was such a wonderful time,, World pvp was some of the best back then

I play WoW actively I've played since cataclysm and still here despite how tedious BFA is. I plan on playing Patch 8.2 but school has gotten in the way lately so i haven't been able to play yet though.

I don't mind BFA much except all the grinding it has you do for different things.
I am also going to plan to start raiding when i get the chance.
I also love the dragon lore in WoW.
What classes do you enjoy playing? I love to play feral druid.

I am... not currently playing WoW. I'm still following the story and everything but I'm one of those who unsubed during BfA. I'm keeping an eye out for a good excuse to return, at the moment, I'm just not feeling the game or story direction.

Though if next expansion is the Black Empire, I'll be back in full force.
(would also be nice to have sethrak as a race, it would make me sad to see them as a one and done NPC).

Bfa isn't that terrible but it is quite grindy so it gets really boring for me so I haven't really done much in the expansion besides the war campaign! I do like the raids though! So I'm quite excited for Azshara's Eternal Palace!
And yes!!! The dragon lore in WoW is so intriguing to me, I have quite the thing for the black dragonflight myself. My mage is a black dragon that's made a pact with N'zoth to be somewhat of a pawn to his commands (which is funny bc the whole Azshara/N'zoth thing came soon after I decided to make her a black dragon)

And also a fair warning for 8.2! It is also pretty grindy like the rest of the expac! So good luck!!

It's nice that you're still following the story though! I currently share an account with my brother and our mom pays for sub every month and he plays way more intensely than I do so I've just been kinda playing too since I can.

I personally would really love an expansion about the dragon isles and what Wrathion has been up to the past couple expacs! Old gods would also be hella cool though. And same!! It's a shame that Blizz might not do anything else with the Sethrak after bfa :(

I agree that they should do more with the dragons and the lore in another expansion whether its a larger or smaller part. I am also a fan of Wrathion and his story so far. I was very sad and disappointed about what they did with Ysera in Legion.

I've played frost mage too and i really like it but Druid and Hunters are my favorite classes. I've been working on getting the white owlcat skin for my main druid and its very grindy because i need to do 200 world quests to get it, but i am almost there i just need like 70 more world quests done.

Frost mage is neat! I never played it much personally, same with arcane, I leveled as a fire mage and it's important to her character so I am going to stay fire forever probably! Arcane and frost never really appealed to me play-wise
And good luck with that!! My brother recently got the owlcat skin on his druid and I don't know if he's unlocked any color variants yet! I think he's trying to go for all druid secret appearances actually,, I've had the fire mage secret forever now since its just a random Suramar drop and I got lucky questing one day ^^
I need to work on holy priest secret eventually,,,, Very grindy since it requires an exalted rep

I'm probably the only person who has been actually enjoying BfA so far, but I enjoyed Zandalar. I haven't been able to get to the new content yet since I decided to start two new mains, and other games have been getting in the way of my WoW time.

Both of my mains are arcane mages, which is my all-time favorite class and subclass, and I'm a Horde blood elf main. I'm one of those strange people who generally doesn't mind grinding, and sometimes finds it enjoyable. I'm also thinking about starting a beast mastery hunter, but I'm not sure. I enjoy the class, but I always yearn for my mages when I play other classes. I've played frost and fire some, and I like both, but my favorite is arcane.

I played here and there across the expansions, when I was much younger and I used to get the free month of trial emails. I didn't get into it all the way until Legion. But when I got into it, I got into it hard and fell in love with the game. I started getting into the lore and stayed for the story. I used to play Warcraft III, including The Frozen Throne, all the time as a teenager, so I wasn't completely new to the lore.

I am excited to see Nazjatar and just what they do with it!

If Bfa wasn't so grindy I think it could be a lot more enjoyable than it is now, but patch 8.2 might be an improvement to Bfa's expansion.

Bfa is enjoyable! I actually had some fun leveling my priest the other day in preparation for 8.2 ^^
I just hate the constant grinding blizz keeps adding

And I am also a mage belf main! I have respect for those who chose arcane and frost as I could never handle those myself, I love me my fire burst damage and insane crit levels

I myself only got back into it hard at the end of legion, so I didn't really get to enjoy things like the mage tower appearance. I missed out entirely on Warlords era (kinda glad on that) because of inactive sub. I was only a super casual player up until legion! So all my toons up until then have since been feel sadly, I never felt connected with them unlike my mage and priest

You're absolutely right! During the pvp event in nazjatar in a group I was in, a bunch of people mentioned it was some of the most world pvp fun they've had in a while (big agree), so I'm excited to see what comes in the future
