Ok, so we went out to Cats Protection today (where they take in abandoned cats that need a new home) with the intent on just asking about them. We expected to be on a waiting list since we were looking for a kitten
There were so many lovely cats there but one wouldn't leave us alone. When we went in to see her she was purring, pawing and climbing all over us. She especially liked cuddling into my hair and climbing around neck - she was lovely!
So... she'll be ready to be brought home on Tuesday... yeah, we got a cat!
The problem is that we can't decide on a name for her... I wanted something a bit unique (not something common like Shadow or Smokey) so I need you guys' help! Can you suggest some names that might suit her?
She's so sweet but I can tell she'll be a little mischievous when she gets older - she loves climbing and seems to love attention.

Ok, so my mum and aunt went to go and see about the little tortoiseshell that was also there (they wanted to get a cat for my gran) and they were able to take both of them a day early!
So here I am, typing with 1 hand and my baby girl in the other:
She's currently going to sleep on me and it's the best thing ever! I'm also still looking for names for her so any help is greatly appreciated!

but on a more serious note, what kind of things are you interested in? my mom named our cat after a fictional town from a show (neptune), and all of her cats were named after books. tinker (tinker bell), atlas, eb (encyclopedia brown), etc.
