i'm confused what the question is? are you asking if they are inaccurate to mythology that they're based on?

lotr isn't really based on any particular mythology, tolkien pulled a lot of inspiration from different facets but it isn't meant to be based on anything compared to something like the percy jackson books.

i think the Hobbit movies are kind of inaccurate but Percy Jackson... oofffff no never watch it... EDIT more details:

So I read lotr and watched the movies, same for the Hobbit. I'd say lotr is the best movie adaption I've seen, and the Hobbit ones weren't as good but wasn't as bad as Percy Jackson.

For Percy Jackson movies, I recently watched a few clips and just.... Instant facepalm.... Who could make such a horrible movie?! Even if it wasn't adapted from anything it still isn't the best. Like in the one scene, it shows that Percy has the flying shoes instead of Grover, which is a major part of the story, and also in this fight scene he is controlling all the water in a water tower when he doesn't do anything like that in the book.

Overall, the Percy Jackson movies are waaaaay worse than The Hobbit or LOTR.

Plus here's a picture of HORRIBLE movie adaptions:

movies-to-books inaccuracy? despite having never actually watched LotR, i can guarantee you the percy jackson movies are less accurate.
i think the writers read, like, four chapters of the book and just made the rest up themselves

[font=monospace][b]I think I kinda understand what the OP is trying to say. For me? I think the Percy Jackson books had the most horribly inaccurate movie adaptations. They didn't even add in that war of god dude that Percy had an epic fight with near the end of the first book. Really disappointing, man. [emoji=guardian sad size=1]
