i personally dislike the series but it's cool to see that the animation got exponentially better.

[/quote] Yeah I noticed something was a bit off about the animation in the trailer. I’m not sure whether it’s a bad or good thing though! Also, I hope this isn’t an end to the series because there’re still things / plot holes that really should be address that weren’t before, but I’m not sure as of now if the “limited” series would do that.

I just watched the SU movie earlier tonight, and I AM HYPED ALREADY!!!!!!!!

All I can say is:

Jasper, are you kidding me right now. Did you learn NOTHING?!

The other enemies look interesting. Really curious about the giant dragon thing (a perfected forced fusion? A whole new species) and the White Diamond lookalike (it looks pink almost...a synthetic diamond, maybe?), but also looks like a pair of Lapis and an Aquamarine, too?

And really looking forward to learning about the healed Corrupted Gems, and what happened to Pink Pearl.

And yes, more Spinel!

My thoughts of that villain shot:

* Jasper's pretty self-explanatory. I doubt she'd be happy to learn that Pink Diamond started the Rebellion, when she firmly believes that everyone must fit in the mold the Diamond Authority has set out for them. She probably won't be happy that said mold has dismantled, too. Anyways, I'm glad we're getting closure for her.
* The Steven cactus is definitely a result of Steven's phytokinetic powers going haywire. I've also seen theories that the Watermelon Stevens split off and developed into new species, so that's a possibility, too. I think this cactus is related to Steven dealing with his own problems, since it was mentioned in the series synopsis. It'd be a 'battling your own demons' thing.
* The Aquamarine we know DEFINITELY fused with someone. I think it's with Eyeball, which would make sense. Eyeball also probably won't be happy to learn Pink started the Rebellion, and she already wishes to seek vengeance against the Crystal Gems for sending the Ruby Squad out into space. I'm not sure why Aquamarine wants to attack the Crystal Gems, but it could be related to Steven and Lars escaping Homeworld when she brought them there.
* White Diamond is an interesting case. I think she either fused with Jasper, or someone's controlling her. It is rather odd that she colored orange/pink when everyone else has a normal coloration. She could be a fusion with Jasper due to her nose glowing in a similar shape to Jasper's gem, but I can't really see why they would fuse. The most likely explanation for the fusion theory is that Jasper forced her to fuse with them, because what better way to get vengeance on Steven than to fuse with the most powerful gem in the universe? If someone's controlling her, then it's most likely the centipede monster we also saw. I've also seen theories that she simply went berserk as a result of her struggling to be a good guy, but I think that's unlikely. We see in the movie that's she clearly struggling to change her ways, and the only reason she hasn't reverted back is due to Steven.
* Speaking of the centipede monster, I hope it's a sneerson! Sneeple is the one thing Ronaldo said that hasn't come true, and I do want the show to address other alien life someday. It is the only one to be animated in that shot, after all, so it's gotta be important. I mentioned in my point about White Diamond that the monster could be controlling her, and I have a theory as to why that could be the case. White mentioned in Change Your Mind that she's "supposed to make everything better", but why would she say that if she's the leader of the Great Diamond Authority? Well, someone would had to create her, right? And that creator is likely sneeple. They might have some unique power over her to keep her in line with their intended purpose for her, and that could explain why both of them are in the villain shot. If it turns out to be a corrupted gem, then the Crystal Gems might be dealing with the possibility that there are still corrupted gems out there that they never healed. And boy, would that pose a problem. In the end, I can't wait to find out what that thing is!
* The two Lapises are likely there to help with our Lapis's character development. They likely worked with our Lapis, too, so they probably aren't happy that she defected. I hope they also help flesh out the role of Lapises in the caste system, since we barely know anything about them other than the fact that they're terraformers. I've also seen theories that they're there so Jasper can form Malachite again, and honestly, I can see why. Jasper's likely still obsessed with fusion, and the original Malachite was when she was at her most powerful. I doubt they know her, and combined with whatever grudge they hold against the Crystal Gems, they'd likely agree to fuse with her. I think these two are the most up-in-the-air regarding their purpose in the new series, since they could honestly be there for anything.

And to finish off, I'd to add something general I'd like to see:

We gotta see Pink Pearl, Emerald, and Topaz again! None of them have been mentioned at all since their last appearances, and at the very least, Emerald is confirmed to return.

We still have the issue of Pink Pearl's eye to deal with, since besides what's in Lion's chest, that's the biggest mystery right now. It'd also be nice to see more of her past, like more of her interactions with Pink Diamond and what caused her to be taken away from Pink.

Emerald has had a grand total of one appearance, and she's likely still mad that the Off Colors took her Sun Incinerator. Heck, she could still be searching for them! I do hope we get some closure on what she's doing.

Topaz will likely reappear when Aquamarine does, but I would like some information on what she's up to these days. She has to be happy that fusions are legal now on Homeworld, right...?

There's probably also other gems that have yet to reappear, but I'm just forgetting them right now. Nonetheless, I'm especially hoping for these three to reappear, and it would be nice to get an update on them, too!

In the end, I'm very excited for Steven Universe Future, but it's sad to know that we possibly have a limited number of episodes left before the whole series is over...

And Topaz, too. Seeing your post also reminded me: there's still Holly Blue and the Famethyst, too, and the Zoomans. What happened to them? And the Ruby Squad. What happened to them? One really big question (at least for me) I hope we are answered: what gems is Fluorite a fusion of? Even if this is only answered by the crew off the show, I am really curious. I feel like, no matter what, the whole situation with Jasper is gonna be painful. When you're the perfect soldier in a society as rigid as Homeworld, to suddenly see all of that be completely rewritten? What do you do when your purpose is gone? And the Aquamarine. I know It's the one from the show because of her gem,but why is she a villain prominent enough to be featured? Why is she different colours? If it wasn't for the gem, I would be thinking it might be a completely different Aquamarine, maybe even an Off-Colour. Has it a fusion or did she just get poofed and reformed differently? It's gonna be one heck of a ride.[/spoiler]
