What is your most memorable phase as a kid? Didn't have one? If not, what phase do you wish you had?

I went through a phase where I absolutely loved cows, I still have quite a few of the cow plushies and such my friends and family got me at the time. Ironically I still ate beef and dairy during that phase, but in my defense I was a kid lol.

I had a total Bratz phase as a kid and had my entire room decorated in merchandise. The walls were pink, I had wallpaper trim of all the characters, lamps with the logos on it, CD players, DVD players, bed sheets, even dressers were painted bright blue & purple to match the theme, and dolls were displayed everywhere. Yes, I jammed out to the "Rock Angelz" album 24/7. And still do. I was obsessed.

Needless to say I could never invite friends over as a teenager because of this embarrassment. Never let an 8 year old design a room. Ever

I used to daydream I was a dolphin. I was free of every care in the world. I didn't have to go to school. I could just follow my curiosity and explore.

That came to a screeching halt when I realized that being an ocean mammal had its challenges and you couldn't exactly go hide inside a house or another building if you were being attacked.

I still love dolphins, though. Giraffes, too, but I never wanted to be one...crippling fear of heights n all.

Ever [/quote] yeah i had this same problem. my room is pink and has horses on the walls. dont let a 6 year old child design anything. BUT MY PHASE WAS HORSES. Oof I had a Warrior Cats phase and a weeb phase when I was middle school aged, so around 2009-2011. The latter wasn’t even an anime phase because I wasn’t really allowed to watch anime back then. Heck, I got in huge trouble for watching Death Note so I didn’t watch any anime at all for another 3-4 years. I just drew anime styled art all the time and constantly watched Caramelldansen videos/other early YouTube animations with high pitched bubblegum pop music (and if you’re familiar with those trends at all, you’re probably eligible for an Internet seniors discount by now hhh). I had those kinds of songs on my iPod and tried to get my friends into them, needless to say to no avail. I also had quite a few... odd fashion pieces, for example one of those resin glow-in-the-dark scorpion bracelets that you can find at gift shops. I legitimately thought that was cool. Dark times in my life that I cringe looking back on tbh.

I had somewhat of an emo/punk phase throughout high school, but that was a lot more low key (just wore band tees and Vans all the time and made edgy art) and I still enjoy most of the same music now as I did then. No regrets to be had there. I also played Neopets obsessively from like ages 5-15 and had a bunch of the merch, so I guess you could count that as a phase too. I’m not really embarrassed by that one either though, maybe because I kinda kept it to myself past a certain age unlike some of the things above.

Orca phase. I had orca themed everything. Bedsheets, pillows, coloring books, clothes, everything.

Also transformers, I remember having my 8 year old mind BLOWN watching the first live action one on the big screen. Still obsessed today LoL
