I have always been for androgynous gender expression. Since I'm Korean, I've had my fair sahre of K-pop, and I remembered someone telling me about a certain girl who dressed masculine. Of course I had to look this up, and first thing that comes up? FANXY RED. Honestly I was dumbfounded; these cisgender Chinese women were freely expressing themselves in conservative South Korea! And their voices? Heck yeah! I wish I could achieve this level androgynous mastery.
And finally, my question: Do you listen to any androgynous music bands or singers? Not restricted to K-pop! You can say from whichever country you'd like! What are your thoughts on them? What are your favourite songs?
With fortunes, APHEA

gender nonconformity is... so cool.
I listen to a good number of gnc people, but the band that comes to mind off the top of my head is The Struts. their lead singer leans heavy into a more glam rock look which results in some strong androgynous fashion moments :)

All that comes to mind is David Bowie which is sad to admit because my whole lewk is androgyny
How dare I be this way

Sam Smith & Claud are both nonbinary & both really good. I also like Perfume Genius, Callum Crighton, SSION, House of Wallenburg, Miss Benny, Eliot Sumner (formerly I Blame Coco), and arguably some more like Years & Years, Robyn, Mnek, or Superfruit depending on what you're calling androgyny. Some of the queens from Drag Race sing fairly well, too.
I really like MRSHLL, but I don't know a lot of K-pop bands. Do you have any recommendations, androgynous or otherwise?

sunflowerlizard I don't listen to much, but IKON and Pentagon were good? Not androgynous though.

"Darkness still fell upon the cliff and the horn of the new moon vanished in the end behind the window of the wall as into a long-feared shelter in the Earth rich with the frames humility of God's memory and reflections. The stars in the sky shivered as they crawled once more up the fantastic ladder and into the void of themselves. They wondered whose turn would be next to fall from the sky as the last ghost of the crew had died and they alone were left to frame Christ's tree and home."

Flor is pretty neat. They have a very chill sound about them. If you want more mainstream, then try Mansionair; if you want less mainstream, than try Altopalo. They're all great.

Nothing much to say here.

Aphea Thanks! More music is always good. :) I was recently reminded that Trixie Mattel is probably my favorite drag queen singer, although it's a lot of country, so ymmv. I think her song "Soldier" is a widespread hit or at least I've managed to hear it a lot. And I just ran into Dorian Electra today, who I think is nonbinary and who has an excellent aesthetic.
I really love living in this decade, I feel like every day I encounter a new androgynous artist somewhere.
