I'm bored and I've got nothing to do, so let's talk about eggs!

When you crack eggs, do you crack them against the side of the bowl or knock two on each other until one cracks? Personally I knock two against each other, and when there's only one left I use the counter. I don't like cracking them on the bowl. When cracked on the bowl the crack ends up being a straight line, and when cracked on each other or the counter it's like a dent? Which is much easier to pull apart.

We used to collect egg shells, we crushed them to put around plants to keep snails away, and we also took the better looking shells and planted sprouts in them. Now that I'm thinking about it, I have no idea what happened to those little plants, but they're gone.

This year I've learned that making scrambled eggs isn't as scaring as it looks. I make it quite often now. I've also seen people make scrambled eggs by cracking the eggs right into the pan? What does that taste like? With no salt or pepper. Or maybe the way I make eggs is strange. I crack them into a bowl, then add salt, probably too much pepper, and a tiny bit of milk. Then put it into the pan. We also melt butter in the pan first? I'm not sure if that's normal.

Speaking of scrambled eggs, have you ever tried scrambled eggs with viennas?. Normally I just fry it in the butter first for a bit before adding the egg. I normally don't eat viennas, but I do with eggs.

Also, cheese with scrambled egg? I don't like. I mean, cheese omelettes are good, but something about scrambled egg with cheese I just don't like.

I don't have fried egg that often. Mostly because I'm really bad at the flipping part, it normally ends with egg all over the stove. I have this little pan, that literally only fits one egg in it, and I used the make egg in that all the time. It was nice.

Do you put anything on fried eggs? I normally put a bit of salt on when it's still in the pan, but that's about it. Sometimes at restaurants tomato sauce. It taste better than it sounds.

Boiled eggs are okay. I really don't like the yoke, I'm a bit of a picky eater, and idk the slimy-ness of boiled eggs just doesn't do it for me.

...

I literally just wrote an essay about eggs. xD Idk if there's anything else I wanna say, what do you do with your eggs? c:

I just crack egg. No need to get fancy crackin’ with eggers.

I like fried eggs but only on buttered toast or in a mayo and lettuce sandwich

Boiled eggs arent my thing. My birds like them though. All scrambled up with bread crumbs.

Scrambled eggs isnt my thing either, nor is omelettes.
I tried poached eggs a few times but they are hard to cook and it hardly ever works out. Plus they dont taste that great.

I’d rather have a fried egg anyday over a fancy schmancy eggo.

wow you're passionate about eggs.

when i was a kid, just putting an egg yolk in my mouth was enough to make me reflexively gag. i just couldn't. i grew up with a phobia of dishes with sunny-side eggs in them, because one stray poke of the fork and the entire plate is contaminated with gagjuice.

i now sometimes mix up a buncha eggs into batter and then fry bread with it using a butter base. it smells good.

The yolk is the best part, man. Be it a fried egg, poached egg, boiled egg. I can't stand the white part of an egg, but dat yolk?? Good stuff.

Pretty sure I'm the only one in the family that feels that way.

I will eat eggs literally any way and at any time. My favorite is scrambled with a bit of plant based chorizo. The way that you make scrambled eggs is the way I learned how to make them growing up, I think that's the normal way!

Fried eggs are great! I love eating them with toast. Over easy is my method of choice, the yolk has to be runny.

Hard boiled eggs are great but most people over cook them! The yolk shouldn't have any tint of green at all, it should still be rather orange. I boil mine for seven minutes and then immediately submerge them in cold water to stop the cooking. When I eat them I break them in half, sprinkle a little salt/pepper or hot sauce on both sides, and then munch. Amazing!

If possible I would eat eggs every single day but I don't buy store-bought eggs so I'm limited to the amount one of my neighbors are willing to sell me lol.

The only way I'll ever let an egg touch my lips is if they're fluffy, over-easy and scrambled.

The sight of hard boiled eggs makes me nauseous.

i loved eggs as a kid, hated them throughout my teens, then came back to them as an adult when this lp inspired me to make a fried egg sandwich. i have come to enjoy egg in all its forms again. However. they must have salt & pepper. i'd gag on a plain boiled egg cause the texture & flavour of egg white made me dislike them in the first place.

learning how to cook them over the past few years has been fun. i screwed up a few omelettes, but i make nice patatas bravas. i have this nice new pan, its small & flat but its a little bigger than a single egg pan. it's so great!! i've made gracefully thin, delicately folded omelettes... unfortunately with lackluster fillings, which sucked. im gonna try viennas, that sounds really good.

w hard boiled eggs, i can't stand when they're green... like dang! just prep some icewater beforehand! but i'm just partial to pristine eggs. like i hate when i'm frying an egg & the yolk gets all crispy & paper-thin at the edge. Horrible & i need to get better at frying to prevent this.

definitely have to remember to pick up a carton today on the way home.

"Wait, wait, wait! I know this guy! Yeah, we are screwed."
I actually don't like the taste of eggs! But I help out even if they're involved with foods... I find eggs interesting tbh... Such a small thing can generate a snake, or a turtle, or a chicken... Man life's crazy

I like scrambled eggs with tomatoes!
But only if the tomatoes are cooked with the eggs

I usually only eat fried eggs in whole in ones (toast with a fried egg cooked in the center)

Or with bacon and hash browns in some kind of weird breakfast salad

I also LOVE boiled eggs! I usually eat them by themselves or in salads
(In conclusion eggs are amazing)

Also side note deviled eggs are icky
