There are 6 empires. Each spread across the 3 Realms, the Nether, Overworld, and the End. There are many gods that exist in Minecraft as well. Old and New (yes like DC) most of the old gods have retreated to other worlds to find peace, such as Notch and Jeb, but gods like Herobrine still remain. New gods such as 303 and Bill Gates, have entered the world of minecraft and look on at their new universe to shape.
Villager Nations: The Villager Nation is made up of every village spread across nearly all the biomes. They have become militarized and now push against their undead enemies. Villagers have become more adept at fighting and now Legions of the Villager People have assembles with Snow and Iron Golems supporting them in there wars to conquer the world.
Illager Rebellion: The Illagers are a splinter group of the Villagers. They have learned how the Hierarchy of the Villager Nations has become corrupt and they wish to overthrow the government, institute a democracy and allow all villagers to do what they want to do and not be set to the tasks village mayors order them to do.
The Mobs: The undead armies have slowly been gathering deep in the core of the overworld, this is mostly referred to as the underworld now due to it being so dark. Lava and redstone ore lights up the bare halls as Zombies work in the mineshafts, chugging away for iron and gold to be processed in the forges. Herobrine exists down here and he has slowly been gathering his armies, preparing for an invasion across the overworld.
The Guardians: Throughout the seas the Guardians have been protecting strongholds, holding the secrets to the overworld and other realms. They dominate the seas only allowing access to those ships they deem worthy, though the Villagers don’t care much about that and have routinely set across the seas heavily defended. But the Guardians do have their own armies. Fleets of Drowned ships now patrol the seas, raiding weak coastal villages and undefended trading ships.
The Nether: Deep in the bowels of the universe exists the nether, a realm of fire and death. The god 303 resides here, and they have been reshaping the realm. Forests of Mushrooms exist and valleys of damned souls force stray pigmen to be wary. The Nations of the Nether all bow to 303 as he summons armies of Pigmen, Wither Skeletons, and other demons to gather before the many portals dotting the landscape.
The End: For many a hero this was a challenge to overcome. A challenge to free an enslaved people. Slay a monster. And Win a glorious prize...This was a challenge, that will never be answered no more. The Ender Dragon has blocked off all entrances to the End, now she gets ready for her challenge, striking back against the many heros attempting to invade Her realm. Fleets of End Ships dot the skies as Enderman gather on the decks, end spears and shields in their hands as they cheer on their Queen. The scattered island of the End, which was always broken and shattered have been reformed, into one massive machine, tirelessly pumping out what resources and energy it has left to fly through the end portal, and conquer new lands.
