Work full-time, not on until evenings!
I once was home sick during the time everyone else was doing a huge group project. I didn't have adequate details on what I needed to research so I researched EVERYTHING. Stayed up 'til 2 or 3 am 2 nights in a row.

Was doing some volunteering to help run a horse show in another town and the hotel room was SO uncomfortable, so I barely slept, and then I had to wake up at 5am so that we could find the place and get settled without rushing. I love helping at horse shows but man was I dead that night.

I have expert advice for when your tired: Sleep
Or if you really can't sleep try laying down and closing your eyes. So your eyes can rest (Or something along those lines)

I believe have a really good sleep schedule where my body will fall asleep around 9 whether I want to or not, then I'll get up at 5 on week days.
However there are some nights where I'll get up at 2 and not be able to go back to sleep. When this happens its because there is some big thing of homework that I have to do, in which case I'll spend the next 3 hours doing. Or I'll just be under a lot of stress and I don't think my body doesn't know what is going on.

Lately I have been struggling to fall asleep, so I end up tossing and turning in bed for hours before finally drifting off :(

Before I got meds to help, I couldn’t fall asleep until at least 2:30am. Had to wake up at 7:00, so that was fun for months on end. My sleep schedule is still garbage, but it’s a whole lot better now.
