what are you hoping will happen in da4?? what current characters would you want as companions? how would your inquisitor react/handle the ********* coming their way? what do you WANT to happen??

It isn’t coming until 2022 so we still have a long wait ahead of us.

I hope they keep Solas’ voice actor from Inquisition. Cus in the trailer that was not him and I hate that. So much.

I hear it’s going to be heavily Tevinter based so there might even be a qunari thing happening. Who knows. Although I hate fighting qunari. By thing I mean battle.

Dorian will most likely be in it. What with being a magister and all that now. I think I saw a design of what he will look like. Not sure if it was legitimate or not though. Though I do like things to be a surprise. Lets not destroy and surprises.
I did hear some talk of Cullen still being in it. I imagine Leliana will be in too and whoever you elected as Divine.

I’m gonna have Inquisitor/Solas romance saved so I’m gonna prepare for more heartbreak. I imagine this only ends in one way. The next hero slays the dread wolf or he ends the world. Or both could happen. What if both happened. Yikes.

I wonder who this new hero will be.

oh really, where did you hear the 2022 release date?!? :o im sure they'll definitely keep his voice actor, it'd be so strange if they switched him up since he's such a central character! oh but in that teaser trailer i feel like it was an outtake from one of his trespasser lines. he sounded odd for sure, glad they didnt keep it for the final cut lol

dorian will be in it for sure! and i really feel like fenris is going to make an appearance or be a possible companion since he's freeing slaves all over tevinter rn, and solas will probably try to recruit slaves to join him. i doubt fenris will trust him!

im a solasmancer too, im ready for all the heartache. i wanna stay in denial and think that somehow they will have a happy ending, but honestly its probably not gonna end well :'c

Anyway! Tevinter is pretty much a given but for the love of god I hope we get to explore it properly. I don't want Tevinter to be like Val Royeaux in DAI, just a tiny area. I want to soak up dem Tevinter vibes because I believe Dorian when he says it's beautiful (in terms of architecture and such) and I wanna SEE it.

And Bioware better not pull a Kirkwall on me either.

I'm sure Dorian will return as well. I also hope for Bull. I'd love to see Varric again but that's highly unlikely, and I doubt we'll be going to Orlais again so whoever you selected as Divine probably won't appear either. Not as an NPC anyway, maybe we'll get correspondence.
I also hope for Fenris! I never bothered to romance him (I'm an Anders girl through and through) but I'd love to see him again.

As for the Inquisitor, I definitely want them to show up! Very unlikely they'll be playable (though I kinda hope so) but maybe as an advisor type or even a companion even if it's only for a few select missions. I refuse to believe that the Inquisitor won't be involved. Whether you romanced Solas or not, befriended him or not, there's history between those two and if Bioware ditches the Inquisitor completely and lets the new protag who doesn't even know Solas deal with this I'm gonna be so mad!

My Lavellan didn't romance Solas but they were good and trusted friends, Solas was like a mentor to him and gosh darn it, he took what Solas did very personally, and he didn't disband the Inquisition either. I better get to see my Lavellan involved big time!

Playable character, I hope for another Origins kinda thing. I really want to be a city elf again (likely a slave, but not Dalish born).

Also. Dwarven romance. C'mon Bioware. Not for me but there so many fans who want a real dwarven romance. I'm still salty they cut out Varric's romance in DA2.

Honestly... I am kind of scared and a little insecure about it... mostly about one thing - possible character deaths especially those that were romanced in previous games or my own. I don't want perma-deaths to be decided by anyone else but the player (like, leaving Hawke in the fade.. even if their death isn't confirmed but you get my point I think). Sounds childish, but it gives me serious anxiety just thinking about it XD been trough thiS ONCE.

As dumb as it sounds this is one of my main worries. Ugh and not only about romancable characters. Sh!t, I get too attached too fast... (which is why I am holding back a second re-play of DA:I because I realized.. what if it all end in sadness :| )

Other than that... I am okay with the next protagonist being whichever - Inquisitor or a completely new one. And I really would't mind more race options again... human, elf, dwarf, qunari...

this was a mess. I just get too emotional about this all. Welp.

Yeah, that might be a thing I just imagined but it has been a while. It’d be mad not to include him in some magic end of the world stuff
