What is dragon cave? I've seen many people mention it, and clicked on a lot of eggs and dragons that lead to dragon cave, but I've yet to work out what is is.

Note: I'm entirely unsure whether it goes here or in the Help Centre. If it belongs not here, just tell me and I'll delete this and repost it where it needs to go :)

It's basically a game where you grab dragon eggs, raise the eggs into dragons, and collect and breed more dragons ^^

It's actually a pretty slow game, how it works is after you grab an egg you put it into a "hatchery" on another site. There they gain clicks and views which help the dragons grow. It typically takes 3-4 real days fir the egg to hatch, and the same amount of time for the dragon to go from hatchling to dragon.

If you don't give your eggs or hatchlings clicks and views after 7 days, they'll die. And if they recieve to many too quickly, they can get sick and also die. So you have kind of closely monitor them to be sure they're healthy.

So it's like a clicker game, but other people do the clicking? It sounds kind of interesting, and the dragon aspect already had me interested. Maybe I'll check it out! Thank you!

It's basically an idle clicking/collecting game. Pixel art is to die for, but that's pretty much all there is to it.


You just get dragons to survive by making others click on them, which isn't a reliable system. Don't get enough clicks? They die. But, others like it, and there are ways around that (like the eggs in forums), so to each their own.

I've played Dragon Cave for a really long time, back when it was new like 13 years ago, but fell out of it. NOW I'm back into it! Sadly I couldn't find my old account, but I'm quite pleased with my amassed collection so far. It's an idle game, but recently it's added the Dragon Encyclopedia to fill out by collecting/clicking on every dragon breed! There's also limited time Holiday dragons (All returning from past years, plus one new one every ear), and new breeds added nearly monthly! Loads of variety

The sprite art is dropdead gorgeous and I highly recommend it. If you wanna fill out your encyclopedia AND get clicks, the website called Daily Dragon Fix is my go-to!

It's one of those "Make your own fun" sorta games. Like breeding GENERATIONS LONG EMPIRES OF DRAGONS or just filling your encyclopedia, or just collecting dragons you find aesthetically pleasing. If you end up joining, toss us your scroll link so we can give you clicks! :D

Okay, so I signed up and followed the tutorial and grabbed an egg. What should I do now? Post it to my signature and the Daily Dragon Fix?

Ayy, nice! Yep, you can put the egg in your signature and throw the egg in Daily Dragon Fix. It'll hatch in a few days~!

I also have two last questions about Dragoncave (sorry for all these pings):

1. Do I need to make a separate account for the forums on there? It keeps saying I'm not logged in whenever I go there.

2. The new users tutorial states I need to raise two eggs to adulthood, so should I grab a new egg now and repeat what I did with the first?

But yeah! Just grab another egg and repeat what you did with the first one. As a new user, I think you can have up to 5 eggs? But as you collect more dragons, that number goes up at 200, and then again at 500
