...I feel empty. I am empty. It's been like that lately. You might see me as a bubbly persona, but those who know and might live with depression
know that behind the smiling face can be everlasting sadness. I hope it isn't everlasting for me...
And within those ingredients, I composed this:
Firebird
What do you guys think? Should I continue?

This is great work and expresses the oscillation of emotion that depression brings. You should continue and if you do, please ping me! <3

I didn't expect this much appreciation tbh, o-o
I'm thinking about making a new song today! Possibly a song per day, per se? I think it could reflect in the feelings of existential dread and the deepest grounds of depression. Thinking of sampling two things there...

I did it!:
Get Me Out
It can be a tad bit scary/loud for some, so keep in mind if you get easily shocked. But this reflects more on my feelings when I have an anxiety attack, which can partly be connected with SAD.

These are both incredible and meaningful. The second one especially was a perfect depiction of what an anxiety attack feels like. I didn't think it was possible to put that so perfectly into music, but you did.

I know I'm late to this, but I accidentally stumbled on it. Your Firebird song is delightful! But I can hear the depression behind it too.
And yeah, that "Get Me Out" definitely sounds like how an anxiety attack feels. (I don't know it if helps, but when I have an anxiety attack I try to imagine I'm staring my anxiety in the face. And if I stare back long enough, it will shrink away again because it doesn't like staring contests. It still sucks, and it's still exhausting, but at least it leaves you feeling less helpless.)
I hope you're feeling better now. December's tough.

I feel better now, but there's still some bumps. Thankfully minor ones. I still feel a bit trapped, but life is smiling.
I might continue posting music there whenever I feel like it.
