my flight’s about to take off so i was just curious how people feel about flying/planes

i really don’t like them that much, but airports are fun. i’m usually lucky n manage to get a window seat all the time so that’s cool lmao

3 hour flight gonna play pokemon the entire time woop woop

haha i hate the airport part! shopping is cool but all the gate stuff stresses me out, i dont fly a lot so i'm unfamiliar with how airports work.
being on the plane itself is ok. i also love staring out the window & taking pictures. i think the only plane ride i've taken that i liked is when i was 10 & went by myself. that was pretty cool

I've got a weird nostalgic, romanticized thing for airports and planes. I love how everyone is going in a different direction. You'll see people hurrying to catch their flight, people on their laptops at the cafes, people sleeping at the gate. I can imagine I'm going anywhere when I'm in an airport.

I love the feeling right as the plane takes off too, when you're suddenly heavier before becoming nearly weightless.

Of course, my dad is a pilot which means we get free flights (though not guaranteed seating) on the airline he flies so I'm a little biased.

like. once our flight from america to finland got delayed 10 HOURS, and it was just WILD. the chips and drinks and other stuff ARE SO EXPENSIVE, but once you enter that airport, you dont even care!!!!!!!


also i dont really care much about flying except when theres really bad turbulence i start freaking the hell out

also i can just draw or make edits or just vibe. nothing special tbh

I love being up high in general so flying is pretty magical to me

I love taking photos out the plane windows :P

I have spent an absolutely ridiculous amount of my life in airports, and while flying itself doesn't stress me out at all, I find airports themselves / the gate process very stressful. Just too much noise, chaos and too many things going on at once.

Airports in the very early morning are interesting, though, so there's that at least.

I'm terrified of heights, and the initial takeoff and landing make me a little anxious, but when we're actually high in the air (particularly if we're above a lot of clouds) I love the view. It makes me feel like I'm that much closer to my dream of being able to look at the planet from space (not on a screen or pictures, but with my own eyes).

i love the energy of airports! the little cafes. the decor. have you ever been in an airport at 1am? time completely disappears and it's fantastic

the actual act of flying, however, is only fun in short bursts. a 12-hour flight is a test of strength

[/quote] it went according to plan! just landed :) i feel you on that, i like to pick seats near the wing of the plane because statistically that’s where you’re most likely to survive a crash (i think, don’t fully quote me on that lmao)
