So, you all might remember me from the long hair forum I started, but I have some news!
I’m going to color my hair from the natural blonde to a nice brunette in a week!
Any tips would help, I’ve never colored my hair before.

@BornofFlame That sounds super exciting! I'm also about to do a dramatic change to mine. I'll be going from red (naturally brunette) to platinum, opposite of you haha. If your stylist is using a good quality dye then your hair shouldn't get too damaged, be aware that some people may be allergic to hair dye. I always try to use deep conditioners and hair products for colored hair to keep it smooth and make the dye last longer. I also use a spray to protect it from the sun. Best of luck and congrats!

Go to a salon seriously. The colour will look much better done by a professional.

I’ve used boxed dye so many times and it always comes out orange instead of blonde. Not a fan.
