Oh it's really good, I was surprised at how enjoyable it was. I would have preferred less human level intelligent mutes but that's only because the I'd have preferred it to be a more savage world. I feel like the raccoons especially could have been more simple, less human rather than the flaming stereotype they turned out to be.
There was also no need for the skunks, they were complete extras who had no reason to exist.

I really loved it! The characters were fantastic, and I really liked Wolf's character arc.
The backgrounds were all gorgeous and well designed, that scene with the waterlogged building and the first appearance of Jamack was the moment I fell in love with the series. The animation was soo fluid and the fight scene was excellently choreographed and the music, oh the music was perfect.
And that bit just beforehand with leaping across things floating in the water and getting to the edge and looking out over the landscape of dilapidated human buildings and the encroaching wilderness, it just took my breath away. It usually takes a couple of episodes for me to really get into a show, but Kipo made me so invested super fast.
I also liked how they inverted tropes and stereotypes assigned to certain animals, like how they didn't make the gang of snakes cold, unemotional and/or evil like certain other media does.
Also Charlemagne is such a good villain, his introductory scene was an amazing piece of story telling, and I'm really glad I didn't watch the trailer and thus wasn't spoiled for that. The tension and mystery surrounding him worked so much better without prior knowledge.
Aargh and also the scenes telling wolfs backstory, the growing friendship between her and her "sister" was so cute and heartwarming but every second of that was framed by the knowledge that she was going to be betrayed. And even knowing that the line "but so is your prey" still hit me like a truck.
Also I'm just realising that if I write down everything I liked about the show, I would end up with a 20 page essay, so I'm just gonna stop here.
