What's your favorite bird(s)? I've been . . . obsessed, to say the least, with birds for a while now, and i'm wondering what your favorite bird(s) are? Whether best for a pet, or cutest, or primal-looking, or just because!
Feel free to talk about anything about birds here! Pets are welcome as well!

Here are my favorite birds by looks, and because I want one as a pet!:

Eastern Rosella
They are beautiful, and they have such a sassy exciting personality!

Rainbow Lory
They're adorable, beautiful, and have a fiery personality!

Here are my favorite by primal looks!:

Vultures (Any breed)
Although definately not a good pet, they do look pretty awesome!

Owls (Any breed)
Owls can be found creepy by most and are really cool, so I consider these buddies primal-looking.

I thought I'd share my new favorite pin of my whole collection of pins, because I'm overly excited and nobody else really shares my excitement.
Earlier today I was able to go to a record store and get some music, but I found an amazing pin that I had to get! A friggen Michael Jackson Pin that is a mood. He looks like he's constantly judging you, and it's just amazing! I love it so much!!
Here's the picture on the pin (I don't have a picture of the actual pin.)

Does anyone else collect/have pins? Do you get overly excited about them too?

The sounds they make are the best! They live in my room, and if I'm lucky and listen closely, I can hear them "snore" sometimes!

Oh gosh I have so many favorite birds it's hard to even know where to start. I love water birds a lot though. I think I'll have to put the common loon up there, but I also like cedar waxwings (not a water bird) and dark-eyed juncos (also not a water bird, but fat and puffy during the winter so it's ok). Pins are also a huge obsession of mine it's kind of a problem. I mostly collect animal and mythology ones. I think my favorite pin I own is this one of a dino-bird called caihong juji (made by the amazing artist Greer Stothers). My favourite birds are magpies. I rescued one once, and I think they're such charming, intelligent creatures. I have a huge soft spot for all corvidae, and I absolutely love owls (especially snowy owls)!

I seemed to inherit a fascination with owls from both my grandmother and great-grandmother. I even have a lot of my great-grandmother's collection of owl items that range everywhere from little figurines of various breeds to some large paintings. You can't walk into a single room in my house without finding at least 4 things owl related, even the bathroom has an owl shaped soap dish, an owl towel holder, owl shower curtain holders (alternating with some other holders from cartoons) and a few other items.
