Avatar 2 is coming out this year I’m gonna be confident and say it’s gonna be good.

I didn't get to the cinema much this year but here's the 2 I liked enough to call favorites!

Lancaster Skies. This one doesn't have a great write-up so if you go in expecting action it's boring as heck (it is not that kind of movie) and admittedly I did have to watch it a few times to fully appreciate it despite the fact it falls right into my niche. I really liked how it dealt with the personal/daily grind of the Lancaster air crews.

1917. Saw it yesterday and it became an instant favorite, it was so immersive and intimate. I loved the characters and story telling. It was one of those movies that makes you feel.

Edit: I forgot Tolkien. I never saw it in the cinema (watched on a plane) but it was so good.

Parasite by far my favorite movie of 2019. Knives Out was pretty good and Alita Battle Angel was a fun watch.

This made me realize I really didn't go out and see a lot of movies this past year-

The only ones that came to mind were Hustlers and Spiderman Far From Home oof
