TOPIC | Please help me I am doomed
I have a question:
How do you make friends...? The only friends I have are on flightrising or Minecraft and there are a few people not only online who I might call friends but idk... like, just go up to some random person's house and be like "hey wanna be buddies"?
I feel like I should know already but...?!

Im homeschooled so I don't really see anyone very often and just started thinking about it because it's Valentine's day

I have no friends, and not a single one on flight rising on any other game. I don't have any friends in school for a while, until I found one, but it's been a year and no new friend yet. It's okay to not find any friend whom you click with! It's easy to have aquaintances, but hard to find friends. I would say friendship takes time to forge and don't rush to get new friends. Getting desperate to find friends may backfire. Shared activities are one of the best ways to make freinds. Join some clubs, volunteer work and shared interests can bring comminication and then form new friendships. Take things slow, small hellos to people you often meet on the streets, then eventually familiarising yourself with the person. I don't know, based on my personal expereince, cliques are almost impossible to "join". It's almost impossible for me to even make friends with one of them because they will just abandon you once they're with their clique. Idk man, I'd avoid them...

The answer is; I don't.

Most of my current friends are either from my childhood or high school. There are a few who I met at a group gathering for young adults, all of whom are still in contact with me on a weekly basis. I haven't gone out of my way to make friends in yeeaaarrss...

I think people usually find friends from work/school/hobbies. Try doing that? Ringing the doorbells of random strangers won't cut it, I'm afraid! Lol.
Sometimes you just have to be courageous and go talk to people that you might vibe with. Meeting your online friends ain't a bad idea either.

My friends just happened somehow. Right time, right place, right wavelength.

I personally don't, not on purpose. I tend to get adopted by extroverts as I go through life, but I pretty much have 3-4 dear friends and that's it.

Quality over quantity, I say.

I used to accept every request I got but I don't anymore. So my friend's list here is LITERALLY full of strangers, lmao.

I have not been in a situation where I could make friends easily in a while, since I’ve been homeschooled for the past several years and I’m not all that social. However! I would agree with those saying to find someone you share interests with. I only had a few friends that I still consider friends even though we’ve fallen out of touch. Otherwise, my friends are people I see almost every day. But we still share interests!

Try to find someone who will listen when you need to vent, and cheer you up when you’re sad, and will join you while you scream about your favorite characters. Once you find someone like that? Just talk to them. Get to know each other, meet up every so often, etc. If you share interests in a multiplayer game (even one that’s competitive, because those “friendship ruiners” can make and build friendships too), then play a game together. Or binge watch a show or movie, if you’d prefer that. My advice not might help, but I’m sure that you’ll fine someone who you can call a friend! It’s definitely not impossible :) Even if you feel like it is.

I often see people saying that you have to join a group of friends and not wait for others to notice you, but everytime I tried this it ended up with me crying. I think you have to find someone you really trust and has your same interests, I might say I only have one real friend, the others are just... occasional friends? People I just know? Even on the internet I have few people I'd call friends, but they're useless since we live in different countries and I have to survive all day alone. I see I'm not the only one though [emoji=familiar heart size=1]
