ok i thought the desktop looked weird when i checked it yesterday. I thought i was an april fool's joke.


it's hideous. but more importantly. why is endless scrolling reenabled.
i can't disable it
my laptop memory cannot handle endless scrolling.
this sucks... what happened :<

I'm so glad it's not just me. I was wondering why Tumblr was hideous all of a sudden.

I thought I was going crazy.

You can turn it off! For the time being, at least. I don't know if it's the same on mobile, but...

Settings > Dashboard > toggle on Use the old dashboard

unfortunately, for some daft reason, not EVERYONE can turn it off. it was forced upon me and i have no option to go back to the old dashboard

in addition to the endless scrolling, i also hate hate hate how all your notes notifs don't show up on the dashboard as they happen, instead just in their own drop down list that is not NEARLY as easy for me to parse DX

i hope xkit or SOMEBODY makes a new extension to revert the dash back to the old style :(

I guess they're taking their time rolling it out [sighs] hope you get it soon too

I'm glad yours showed up! Mine is occasionally being stubborn about loading, which is odd...I wonder if that's part of it. Hopefully they improve the beta a little bit more.

At this point I honestly believe tumblr is purposefully getting worse with every update. They either have the most out of touch developers ever or it's a cry for help. When was the last time they ever updated something and it wasn't completely horrid?

Yeah I just ran into this today. I HATE endless scrolling, like even the weird new look wouldn't be so bad if I could just turn the freaking endless scrolling off.

But I can't >:/. I've never had to use XKit before but if that'll get me my pages back I'll do it.
