Heyo! Also you can see from the title....I'm watching Haikyuu! I'm on season 3 right now and using crunchyroll to watch. I'd had never had a great desire to watch sports animes but this one is really good! Here are some of my thoughts and such on the show.
Favorite Characters:

Bokuto- I love him so much because I relate to him a lot.
Matsukawa and Hanamaki- Okay this pair is always great, besides some of the 1st years they're the only people I can stand on Aoba Josai
Noya- We're almost the same height and he's just such a great character
Yamaguchi- I LoVE HiM sO MucH LikE YeS BbY YoU'rE DoInG WonDerFuL
Terushima (and basicly everyone on Jozenji) who don't love this chaotic team

Honorable mentions
Kenma- he's so great I love him
Akaashi- again...who don't love him
Konoha- stan konoha for clear skin
Tendou- I LOVE THIS CHAOTIC CHILD AND I HAVE THE SONG MEMORIZED!

So yeah! Lets talk Haikyuu!

Ahahhaha

I’ve only seen the anime up to like the first episode of s4 but it’s honestly my favorite anime so far. Didn’t know I could fall so hard for a sports anime but here we are

My favorite characters:
Tsukishima. I’m all for that development yo. Also he likes dinosaurs and I- we have a lot in common, even down to the glasses and the freckled friend.

Yamaguchi. The freckled friend. He tries so hard, and he puts a lot of work into his serve, and is still never really in the spotlight. I relate to this guy and also he’s really pure I want to hug him

Daichi. Memes aside, he’s an amazing captain and is truly a wonderful foundation for his team. Almost every opponent karasuno has played against has noted his receiving skills, as they should.

Ennoshita. Another relatable guy. I too skip out on activities I enjoy and end up feeling that regret, that disappointment in myself. That one episode where he could shine made my heart shine too. We all have a chance doing what we love.

Aone. The gentle giant (kinda). He rarely speaks, and the friendship he has with Hinata is so pure, I love the way they just *boom* became friends and acknowledged eachother during their match.

Koganegawa. He’s so cute. So cute. They way he takes everything too seriously is really funny and I love his dedication. He’ll be a tough opponent in later years.

Ok oh my god that’s it, whew what a list. Some honorable mentions: Yachi and Shimizu. Takeda. Suga and Asahi. Saeko. Ushijima. Kuroo. Bokuto.

Anyways, the anime itself is not what I was expecting from a sports anime. I didn’t think there’d be as much bonding and development (probably because I don’t play a team sport lol). Watching haikyuu actually helped me find motivation and fire myself up when playing a sport, because I know working hard yields results. I know it’s just an anime, but in all honesty, I feel like I’m IN the anime. I see Karasuno’s gym and I legitimately feel like I’ve been there before. It’s my second home. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

@BirdBagel Oh heck yeah, I get the feeling of being there. When ever there's a big arc like the tournament or the match against shiratorizawa I get the feeling of like I'm watching that game happen right in front of me, the anime does an amazing job and keeping you on the edge of you seat like a real sports event. Who knew volleyball could be so interesting and entertaining!

Yeah, I've never been a fan of watching sports. This, however, is different because you can see the actual lives of the players and their progression, you can root for your favorites, and you can make memes without offending any real people. And anime is just a lot more fun to watch than real stuff :P

Totally agree! Some of my favorite characters:

Goshiki- The baby swan of Shiratorizawa! Gotta love our 'Future Ace'! He' so innocent and happy! Got a lot of determination and he can be arrogant at times, but isn't everyone? He has a lot of respect for his senpais as well, he really looks up to Ushijima! His spikes have power and accuracy, and he's probably one of the top first years in Haikyuu, or at least in my opinion. One of my favorite quotes of Goshiki's: 'You're only an ace if you can create miracles!"

Tendo- @Nikame I also have the song memorized! Bakki bakki ni ore! He's such a joker sometimes! He can also be pretty serious and scary when he's on the court though. A great middle blocker, and he isn't afraid to mercilessly destroy his opponents with his blocks(although he messes up sometimes).

Kenma- Love this little cat! He's pretty quiet and doesn't talk much except around Hinata and Kuroo. On the court, he's good at reading his opponents and figuring out their strategies, as well as coming up with ones to counter his opponent! Favorite Kenma quote: "Even if a game doesn't seem clear-able at first, after playing it over and over again you can conquer it."

Honorable mentions:
Shirabu, Semi, and Kawanishi- My other favorite Shiratorizawa players!(sorry Yamagata, Reon, Ushijima!)
Akaashi- Who doesn't love Akaashi?
Hanamaki and Kunimi- My favorite Aoba Johsai players! Iwaizumi is a close third.
Yaku and Fukunaga- My other favorite cats!
Sugawara- He was my first favorite character, when I only had watch like seven episodes
Kiyoko- My favorite female character, also my second favorite Karasuno character
Moniwa- My fave Dateko boy!
Shiratorizawa- My favorite team!

Wow this was long! Another thing: Do you guys ship anything?

omg i just finished reading the lastest chapter of the manga and my heart hurts, my feelings are smashed and my body is on fire ;;;;

highly highly suggest if ur craving more haikyuu while waiting for new anime episodes that you read the manga!
i dont have a favorite character bc honestly theyre all great and the story does a great job of giving almost every character an interesting backstory but my favorite team is definitely nekoma.

also the tendou in dub is amazing and chaotic

Ahh yes Shiratorizawa is one of my top favorite teams, along with Karasuno and Dateko! If a murderer wanted me to come out of hiding, all they'd have to do is start chanting the Shiiiiratorizawa! cheer ;^; (and obviously GO GO LETS GO LETS GO DATEKO-)

And I ship lots. I'm kind of a multishipper and I don't want to make anyone upset with some of the less popular ships, but I do love Daisuga and Tsukkiyama because aaaaa I'm basic. But like, how can you not-

Also @squiggie I don't know what Noya is doing but whatever it is, it's pretty accurate (someone give Ennoshita a hug)

I would love to read the Haikyuu manga but reading is harder for me than watching anime, unfortunately. Might do it anyways tho adfjafsja
From what I've seen of the dub, most of it is chaotic but. Tendou. SMASH IT BASH IT INTO PIECESSS

okay but in all seriousness Haikyuu is my new favorite show right now I love every moment of it.
Okay but in my opinion the most chaotic part of the dub is the fact that Nishinoya sounds like sonic and Tendou says Mr. Vanilla and the "Fare thee well googly eyes..now let's go off on their a*ses" and then ushijima saying "Obviously"

also Komori is baby, I've had him for like 4 episodes and i love him already
My favorite ships are probably Bokuaka, Tsukiyama, Levyaku, Matsuhana, and Daisuga. My favorite team is probably Karasuno or Shiratorizawa, which may be a shock about how much I love Bokuto and Akaashi but the dynamic of the other 2 are really great.

Those are also some of my favorite ships! I also ship IwaOi, KuroKen, UshiTen, AsaNoya, and a few others. And for something that is completely unrelated to Haikyuu, does anyone watch Attack on Titan? I started it after I finished the Haikyuu anime and I am hooked on it as well.
