[font= georgia]This movie came out in November but I didn't see it until a week ago and it was n o t good
The stunning animation does not excuse it's blatantly uninspired story. Beautiful animation is a Disney must at this point. Apparently the story took a back seat.
The ending is hands down the worst part. There was no inclination of Elsa wanting to stay in the Enchanted Forest. Someone said something along the lines of "you belong here, you know" and she just up and leaves Anna in charge. And we don't even get to see Anna react to suddenly becoming Queen? Like whaaaaaat?
Anyway, what did y'all think about the movie? Do you share my complaints or disagree?

I did love the fact that Kristoff got a solo and a little chorus of Reindeer, but that may be just because I like Jonathan Groff's voice.

I honestly never plan to watch it because the first one was a flop to me too.
It was so rushed. There were plots belonging to at least 3 different stories going on in the first one. None of it felt sincere.

[font= georgia]Tangled is Disney's best movie. I am not open to constructive criticism on that opinion. Heck, my username is a Tangled reference (to the series, not the movie itself).
The first Frozen is not a bad movie. Anna was actually a really good character in that movie. I love the setting and I do like the concept. Elsa has never been a good character, though. She has no personality. Also, the rock trolls are godawful.
Frozen 2 was just way worse than I expected. It's far below the first.

Didn't think the first one was any good (though my dislike of it is also fueled by other reasons, like Epcot replacing my favourite ride with it), so not surprised the second was bad, too.

*Looks at lair* Ah yes. Organised chaos.
It was as good as a Disney movie. That's honestly it, for me. Disney has made their own standard of movies. And it met that standard. It was an objectively "good" movie, but that's it. It's nothing special at all. Nothing worth putting in the books. Nothing noteworthy. Just "Disney good".
Yeah, no, I also took huge issue with Elsa deciding to stay in the forest. For various reasons.

I really liked the different spirits, and the songs are fantastic as always, but the ending was kinda bad. Like, it just went so quick, no explanation really, other than ‘oh ELSA you BELONG HERE’
The gecko was awesome.

Honestly I watched the movie, found it to be exactly like all of Disney's new sequels (hint: not good) watched someone review it, and based the rest of my opinion off of that person's review.

Oh, but can't you feel it?! The void, it's calling me- Calling all of us! It wants to eat our souls, so that we never ascend to the heavens, it wants to absorb us! It needs sustenance, so that it may expand and envelop this whole useless world! All that muck and grime, the ooze, it will fill every crevice of reality, and it will change the world into a paradise! All you have to do is live to see it!
And why aren't I scared? Because the void is the afterlife, and I am its Grim Reaper!
I didn't enjoy the first movie. I do not want to see the second.
I forget why I even watched the first one...I didn't expect much of it. It didn't even follow the 'Disney' movie way. You know the. 'Oh she's in trouble. A prince of some sort comes. She finds out she's stronger than she knows. She gets sh*t done' kinda thing.

All of this. I like the aesthetic of Frozen and the music but the story and characters suck. Once Upon a Time did it waaaay better, and that's saying something. I love OUaT but man did it start to really go downhill after a few seasons. Bringing Elsa in was an attempt to save it, and tbh, I think it worked. Her character (and Anna's) was so much stronger without that stupid waste of space snowman running around.

I felt that too. I actually liked the first Frozen, but I hated the second. The story was just all over the place??? And nothing made sense at all.
If I have to pick a favorite Disney movie its a tie between Treasure Planet and maybe Lilo and Stitch
