Me. I like Transformers.
And I know there are some others out there.
I’ve visited at least one Transformers themed lair.
Come on out. Let’s chat.

Fair warning: I’m no expert, I watched Prime and most of Robots in Disguise, seen all the movies(rip me) and read some of More Than Meets the Eye(Rung’s my fav).

I just think they’re neat.

I'm a fan of the franchise, but I've been very particular about which entries I loved. G1 was my start, and I have a lot of love for that era and the reinterpretations over the years, but my favorite entries (aside from the toys because I'll buy those even if I hate the entry it comes from) are Beast Wars (but not Beast Machines), Prime and MTMTE.

Honorable mention to the old Marvel Comics version of G1 that took place loosely within the Marvel Universe (as Spider-Man showed up and some of the comics exclusive characters have appeared in other Marvel works) and included a lot of G.I. Joe interaction.

My favorite Transformers are G1 Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime (and one of my "prize possessions" is a G1 reissue Hot Rod my friend's daughter got for me with her piggy bank money because she remembered I said he was my favorite) and most of the dino versions of Grimlock (there was a tractor Grimlock before... I don't like to think about it), particularly those based on the G1 style and/or color scheme.

My "holy grails" are the old BotCon Shattered Glass exclusives (for those unfamiliar, Shattered Glass is the alternate mirror universe with heroic Decepticons and evil Autobots, and a few of the BotCon exclusive figures over the years were the Shattered Glass versions of characters). It has long been my dream to get a few of those even though they are technically just redecos of existing figure molds. I USED to also want Pepsi Convoy (a redeco Optimus Prime from Japan), but a friend got that for me some time back.

That’s cool! I admire people who actually own Transformers toys. I used to have a couple of Bumblebee figures, a cheap movie-based one and a nice one based on the old Transformers Animated show. He was cute, had little horns like the og design, but I lost pieces of him over time...
I like Hot Rod too! His appearance in the movies was... honestly tragic. I like how he was in the old Transformers movie(I think called just Transformers the Movie) where they fight Unicron. And of course the MTMTE comics. He’s interesting as a character.

I personally am a big fan of Starscream(holdover from when I first watched Prime as a kid) even if he’s pretty pathetic a lot of the time.

Hi c:
I do like it! I'm more of a casual fan, and havent watched a lot of any series, but I do play a little but of the card game with my friend!

I run a deck with Major Soundwave with Raiders Ratbat, Ravage and Rumble.

Can't you hear the bells singing along?
You all hear it on the radio
Can't you see the hero coming home?
Can't you hear the bells

I'm old enough that I would have caught the tail end of G1 when it originally aired. But I didn't get into Transformers until college, when movieverse happened. Then I caught up on G1, watched TFP and TFA, some of the series after that. I have a fanfic that's still in progress from 2007, which I update roughly once a year :p. Sometimes I do art as well.

[/quote] Does this include the G.I. Joe comics with prominent Transformers interaction or no? They really went heavy on the crossover stuff without it being a big crossover event, there were even some comics in the G2 era that you'd have characters from both franchises in one title without it being advertised on the cover.
