I don't know what triggered it, but all of a sudden I remembered a game I have incredibly fond memories of playing when I was a kid: dinorun. I remember looking at the fundraiser/kickstarter for dinorun 2, but at the time it seemed like it was a dead project. I looked into it again today, and it seems like it's actually in very active development! There was a dev stream just a few days ago working on the animations for the pterodactyl. I've been playing it for a little bit [s]instead of grinding in the coli like I said I would[/s] and it's nice revisiting old memories. Whole else remembers playing this game? Any particular memories?

Looking at this, nostalgia has hit me like a tonne of bricks. I used to do the same thing as you back then, coming home from school, getting my hands on the main computer before my brother did. Then I would just spend hours upon hours on it, trying to keep the dino alive for as long as I could. Sometimes even getting frustrated about the doom being too fast. The doom has always scared me when I was younger.
This brings so many memories...

I miss playing it. I've always wanted to buy Dino Run DX on Steam for that very reason. It seems fun enough.

I like the newest web version because it has hats and cheat codes. Sadly the multiplayer doesn't seem to work :(

Man, I missed that game! I used to play it on Coolmath Games. Good memories.

I used to LOVE this game! Really hoping it gets saved when Flash shuts down.

Oh my gosh dino run was hyperfication for a short bit when quarintine started. I was playing it non stop lol. I also was pretty sad when I saw the KickstarteR didn't get funded but I'm glad they're still giving it a shot!

I sure do, I even own DX on Steam. Still can't beat that Hard Challenge...

I backed the DR2 kickstarter, I'm glad they're starting to work on it more again <3 It's such a cute little game, and I can't wait for the sequel because it has one of my favourite dinosaurs in it. I did a sort of mini-review of it for a game design course I took a few years ago but the blog will likely have been deleted by now, rip
