And if a silence filled the air do you think that anyone would even care? Would they be aware... of the mounting snow...
It follows a heavily quest-based storyline and has a good amount of lore, and there is also a welcoming atmosphere for writers who wish to write within the game's lore. The story unfolds as you progress through the game, starting you as someone who has no memories learning about the world you find yourself in.
The pets systems uses timed hatching, with most having an 8-12 hour wait, and your first pet being reduced to a 1 hour wait. You can interact with your pet and there is an optional goal to reach full affection. Pet alchemy is also a thing you can do, where you can combine pets to create fully new ones.
There's also an avatar system which has a large focus. You can choose from any of 4 classes at the start of the game with each class having unique features. You can dress your character and the clothes you wear do impact the story and improve your own states depending on what it is.
Then there are quests, which are divided into main, side, and daily quests. The main quests progress the story, side quests are optional things you can do at any time, and the daily quests you can do each day with seven per unlocked character.
Honestly there's a lot of heart put into the game I'd say, you can tell a lot of effort and dedication went into it.

It's...time consuming, that's for sure.
But, for me, that's not really a bad thing at a time like this.

It's more time consuming than other pet sims because of its quest based nature. You'll find yourself talking to an NPC, then going to do what they want you to, then going back to them to talk some more and repeat the process. I don't mind it so far, but I get the feeling it will get grating for me as time goes on. Also, sometimes the repeatable quests don't explain things very well so you'll have to go back to talk to the NPC and reject their quest to reroll it.
I do NOT like the Adventuring system. It's a good idea, but the riddles are practically IMPOSSIBLE because the hints are very sparse, AND you have four answers! It's hard to whittle down your choices because of that. You don't lose anything for getting the riddles wrong, but it does feel like a waste of time.
The pets themselves don't really do much, you can interact with them daily and give them bios. You can equip items called Totems to them, as well as other pet-specific items that you get from the gacha.
Speaking of the gacha... you can spend your in game money on unlockable Stores, which abide by a gacha system. Ex. 50 potatoes for 1 summon, 250 for 10 summons. I don't really like this, but at least most of the items are optional accesories for your character. There are some rare upgrade items in every Store as well but since they're rare I haven't gotten any.
I have to play more to create a verdict. I like the art style and minigames, but I'm not a fan of the gacha and quests. Also, keep in mind that because this game is literally just opening, there's gonna be a LOT of lag.
