I've been loving all the outfits on Dappervolk and I change mine almost everyday.
However, I think I've found one that I'd like to wear for a while. The only problem is the layering on the hair is a bit odd.
Anyway, I'd like to see your DV avatars and it would be great if you could also post a short blurb about them. It doesn't have to be as long as what I've written but please make sure you add some sort of information such as your favorite clothing or favorite NPC's aesthetic.

[columns]She landed in Louisville on the back of a crashing comet. The impact of the crash made her lose her memory - this was what she had told herself when she could not recall her past. She wandered around a small town after gathering a few scraps of food and eventually ran into a farmer who was not friendly at first. But he eventually turned out to be quite a delight. His name was Bearnard and he told her that she wasn't the only one who had randomly appeared in this world. He said there were many others, of different features and abilities. What struck her as odd was she wasn't the only one who had lost her memory.
She retreated into the outskirts of the town, Louisville. She roamed around within a forest for the first few days, meeting many strange but benevolent souls within the woods. They all seemed to have a passion for riddles and this was quiet amusing to her.
While she wandered through the woods, she realised that even though she was lost in this new world, she was free of whatever past she had abandoned. She decided to name herself Mukti as this meant freedom/liberation and redemption.
This world was a chance to start over, regardless of what had ended.
After a few days, she had gathered a band of companions along the way and cared for them dearly. She had also made some amazing new friends, excluding Buli who somehow coaxes her into stealing Bearnard's turnips. She does not appreciate the way Buli manipulates her and hopes that she can find a way around this problem one day. Perhaps if she had her own farm with turnips, she could give them to Buli without being a turnip thief.
She loved to play in the Starry nights. This was when she was most connected to her element.
Mukti's journey had only begun. What fortunes and fears will she witness along the way? Only time will tell.
Today she is in a rather odd mood. "If only I could make friends with that silly Glume," she mutters to herself while cleaning the menagerie. [/columns]

When I went back into DV I aimed to recreate my beta character, then she turned out even better than in beta. Her name is [url=https://dappervolk.com/profile/4605]Antares[/url] and I don't have much lore for her yet, but she's a warm star friend with an endless love for crystals and autumn. [s]like me but cooler[/s]

This is my avatar as of current! I've been changing/adding to it pretty no stop since I joined and have been going through a lot of potatoes as a result, and knowing me and the items in the next towns I probably won't for a while yet lol! (The Spring bloom flower item is also animated so it looks a bit nicer when it's moving)
As for a backstory I'm not too sure yet. I tend to like keeping things a bit vague anyway but I'm sure as the story progresses and I get back some to where I was in beta I'll get a more of an idea of what I want for it!
