so while scrolling through ao3 for fanfics I found one in mandarin and was curious enough to check it out- but upon clicking on it ao3 suddenly said unsecure?? I checked out the authors other works and it seems they have a mix of secure and unsecure works? never seen anything like it so I’m just wondering what it means.

this that happened back in May, which your situation sounds similar to, but that got resolved months ago.
