Recently, I've gotten mildly interested in the Myers-Briggs Type Index and Enneagram. These are both systems that ascribe a "type" to a person based on their general personality traits and aspirations and fears respectively.

In Flight Rising's lore, each of the eleven Flights is given a few traits, so I thought it would be fun to try and match each of them to a group of Myers-Briggs types (because the Enneagram relies more on the individual, I did not assign them enneatypes):

Arcane: INTP, INFP, INFJ
Earth: ISTJ, ISTP, ESTJ
Fire: ESFP, ESTP, ISTP
Ice: ISTJ, INTJ
Light: ENTP, INTP, INTJ
Lightning: INTJ, ENTJ, ISTP
Nature: ISFJ, ENFJ, ESFJ
Plague: ESTP, ESFP, ESTJ
Shadow: ENTP, ISFP, ISTP
Water: INFJ, ISFJ
Wind: ENFP, ESFP

These are absolutely open to suggestion/debate, and absolutely not claims about the actual users in these flights: They're based only off the lore found in the Library.

The last thing I wanted to ask in this post was for people to add their Myers-Briggs type, their enneatype, and the Flight they chose, just 'cause I'm curious to see how they might actually correlate on the website. (ex. I'm an INTP, a 5w6, and chose the Light flight.) If you don't know which of those things you are, you can find your Myers-Briggs type here and your enneatype here.

As a intp and in arcane, this makes sense

this is really cool! i think some of the personalities of the actual users in flights are completely different from the actual lore, but it does seem pretty accurate. i'm in wind and i was pretty happy to see enfp in there because that's what i am too! part of the reason why i chose it, because i felt it fit me the best.

intp-t here (if i remember right, been a hot minute since i actually took the test) i kinda chose wind knowing it didn't match with my actual personality, but i like to think i have at least some windy traits

anyway i think your categorizations make sense! i just happen to not fit my flight's personality too much

Never heard of Enneagrams before. Took the one test without having read any of the descriptions and got type 1. I think that is pretty accurate, although I don't know what "wing" I'd be. My biggest fears do relate to being immoral, and that's what my OCD has always focused on.

As for Myers-Briggs, I'm not sure. I took three tests tonight from links people posted. Got ISTJ twice, got INTJ once. Years ago, the very first time I ever took a Myers-
Briggs test, I got INTJ. I also once got either ISTP or INTP, forget which. I would say I'm a very complex personality, so it doesn't surprise me that I get conflicting results. I did once read that Aspies are more likely to be INTJs, and I'm an Aspie, so yeah. At the very least, I always get some sort of scientist/rational/analyst personality, which is pretty much what defines me.

I should really have my mom read the descriptions and ask her which one she thinks I'm most like.

im enfp-t 8w7 and in water. however, i could completely see how wind appeals to exfps and how wind is like them.

Update: I just took a second Enneagram test, and this one said I'm type 6. I relate to that one, too, as far as personality goes, but not with the basic, underlying fear. So, again, I don't know if it's the tests that are inaccurate and inconsistent or if it's just that I'm a very difficult personality to sort into a group.
