anyone else think cecils voice is super calming?

[/quote] oh, yeah, its like the best noise in the world to fall asleep to i love night vale, havent really been able to listen to much of it, but i have the transcribed version in book form. i also have the actual book, the night vale novel. amazing read, it somehow has an actual story while still giving off that weird night vale vibe

i used to have a huge fixation on WTNV--, mostly kevin. i forgot to keep listening after starting TMA, but i hope to get back into it. i was on 140-something..

and as someone who mimics voices, i sometimes do go back with the script and recite entire episodes, though!

i know people who find his voice unsettling bc of how calm it is when desercibing the strange events of the town, but i love it so much. its absolutely a good voice to sleep to
ive been wanting to read the novels, which one did you read and how do you feel about it?

wtnv is one of the only podcasts i actively try to keep up on, its just so fun amd bizarre. it has enough happening that i dont get bored/distracted but not to much that if i zone out i miss some massively important point, like there are tons of call backs but just listening to it casually still lets you know whats going on. ive listened to a few others but always end up falling behind, haha. ive actually been thinking about giving tma a shot

I really want to get the other books too but i just spent like 20 dollars on another book. heres a pic i took of all the books i have! ill probably look into getting the book, maybe check some places to see if like a library nearby has it first

I love wtnv though haven't listened to a lot of it because I always listen to it while doing things and get distracted and by the time I realize it I have no idea what Cecils talking about

actually got my name from it o-o have been going by Cecil for a few months now and a lot happier than I was before
