WHATS THE WORST VIDEO GAME YOUVE EVER PLAYED? WHICH VIDEO GAME IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER? ALL THESE AND MORE HOPEFULLY ANSWERED ON THIS THREAD

worst game i've ever played has to be that one horse game on ds. petz horsez 2 i think it was? yeah that was it. there was another one about like. talking to people via nintendo wfc (rip) but i forgot that one's name.

but yeah this is a thread about shovelware and the like

Unpopular opinion, but Ark. The controls are unintutive and even if you know what you're doing it's a bit of a drag. It was also somewhat laggy for me, despite having a PC that can smoothly run MH:World on highest graphic settings.
My very first experience with it was trying to craft some clothes, so I needed to harvest plant fibres. Except I already had an axe or something in my hands and you cannot harvest grass while holding anything. Searched way too long for the unequip button, read through the entire keybinding menue. Could not find it.
Speaking of the controls, it did not feel entirely good for some reason. I might be spoiled by games with a better feel to them, but something rubbed me the wrong way and I'm not gonna reinstall it again to find out.

Character creation is also strange. While I like a bit of variety, most feautures can be exaggeated way too far. If you hit randomize, chances are you'll always end up with a very deformed-looking character. Odd, but not the worst thing. Though definitly a point top consider.

Oh, and one of the first thing that attacked me was a dilophosaur. A venom-spitting, tiny, frilled dilophosaur. One would think the crest would be a distinct enough feature for this animal, but nooo, everyone needs to copy the JP dilo. Even if you're going for fictionalized, non-accurate depiction of a critter, you could be creative on your own. Don't just follow certain designs just because they're well-known.


Props to anyone who does like it, more power to you, but it's certainly not my cup of tea.

shoutout to paws n claws vet or whatever on ds as well that gave zero instruction, and bolt also for ds that i never got past the first level on. or maybe 7 year old me just really sucked at games?

there was some winter sports game on the wii that quickly got replaced with the far superior and classic wii ski trilogy

there's also clock simulator on the switch that is also vague and confusing. why do i have it? i.. i don't know. i use my gold points on the eshop to buy shovelware

The worst I've played...... is probably fallout 3. I know some people like it and that's fine I guess, but like.... eugh. It's boring, it forces a backstory onto my character, it's pretty ugly and grey, and I don't even feel like I'm the main character. Also the combat is horrible???? Why would you not just have true iron sights in an FPS, and it's just so clunky, the repair sucks.... I'll never complain about new vegas' combat again if it means I wont have to deal with fo3's. Not to mention bethesda needs to stop being so obsessed with the brotherhood and enclave. They've been overdone to death by this point, and the brotherhood are like... Not The Good Guys despite what bethesda would apparently like to believe. And none of the characters are even slightly compelling to me. I couldn't get more than a few hours in before I gave up. Probably for the best though, given how genuinely godawful that ending is.

But the worst ever.... I'm gonna have to say is Mystery of Convoy. Big seizure warning if you're going to watch any footage of this. It's just... it sure is something.

I remember playing that game so many years ago, and it had been basically impossible for me to progress past the first like.. ten minutes? I was like six and didn't know what I was doing, so that probably didn't help lol. I'm tempted to do a spite playthrough of it, if only I could find the game and my ds. ^^ I've never played a lot of "bad" games, but Transformice would probably have to be up with the worst. Not terrible, but [i]man [/i]that game had a [i]toxic [/i]community. The only good thing I got out of it was a really amazing friend. Neither of us play it anymore, but we still talk really often! TFM got really repetitive, really fast. Once you actually knew what you were doing, there just wasn't much left. Bootcamp held my attention for a good year or two, but with little to no gameplay updates, constantly recycled events, and a terrible community, it grew old really fast. I regret spending money on it, but I suppose it was good while it lasted.

I tried the game [i]once[/i], asked one simple question and got badly insulted for it for next five minutes. That was also at a point in my life where I really didn't need thst kinda crap. Never again.

Abzu had really terrible controls.

Borderlands 3 was absolute crap.
